First off, this is my first topic since coming back and playing some more. I used to play this game years ago. I was super into it. Since getting busy with life, I've gotten into interactive / UX UI design. So, that's the lens I'm looking at the site through. When considering user experience, I see a few awesome things, and a few things that are kinda odd. But mainly, I want to talk about responsive design! (If you don't know what that is, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design )
I know it's probably hard, depending on how this website was built, but it's really important in this day and age.
People can either load up a game they have downloaded on their phone, or they can hop on their PS4 and play some Paragon. You have to give people a reason to come, and make it super easy to access. I believe in this game, and always have, and I think that it will continue to be strong if some attention is paid to an increasingly mobile world. Currently the mobile version of the site is basically the same as the desktop version, except it feels stripped of some functionality.
Thanks for the time! Really looking forward to see how this site can continue to grow and expand it's horizons.
I feel like this has been brought up a lot on the Suggestions Boards. But the truth is, Subeta doesn't work well on standard computers half the time, and needs a recoding of lots of areas (not just the shops). I feel like the Mobile version redesign has been on the backburner (or not anywhere near the stove) for a long time, and likely will continue to be. :C Even though it would be cool!
I run the normal site on my phone very well, I feel like it's approaching the time where the mobile site just gets removed and features can be made to be a bit more mobile friendly.
I'm sure it has. It's unfortunate. I hope they can pull all the bugs together and hammer them out soon so they can focus on moving the site forward.
Which is essentially the function of responsive design. You literally can scale the window down and watch it change from Desktop, to tablet, to mobile as it gets smaller.
