Like most, I've started the great shop/gallery move... so far so good! One question I have is if categories from old galleries will stay attached somehow when they move into a new gallery, of if I would have to re-catagorize everything in the new gallery. I'm thinking of just moving BY category so I know that all incoming items are part of that category... it would be more time consuming, but not as bad as having to re-look up the jumbled items in one big wave.

Your experiences?

categories do not transfer over, so you would have to remake all your categories and then reorganize your items accordingly.

Thanks for letting me know, you've saved me a lot of time and frustration! I'll just move things category by category so I can organize as I go. Time to go play in my Morostide hoards!
