Anyway:

I'm looking for a RP partner who would be interested in character development through roleplay, but also speculation and discussion outside the actual roleplay. Basically, more character development and working out said characters' stories through their interactions and brainstorming HOW they would interact for the purpose of, well, developing characters.

I'm gonna stop you right here and warn you that I have a lot worked out about my main fancharacters already, meaning I have had a hard time finding roleplay groups that they would 'fit' into. They're mainly based on their source's canon but in different areas or times, so AUs aren't really what I'm looking for at the moment.

I'll also say right now that I'm mainly looking for Steven Universe roleplays at the moment, as the main characters I want to develop are based off that show. "Gemsonas" if you will, though more like "Gem OCs".

However! I am also interested in other fandoms, such as: Team Fortress 2 (I have characters to develop here too but am interested in just jumping into a RP as well) Gravity Falls (mostly thirsting for selfinsertxcanon, which I'm definitely not gonna find, but I figured I might as well try) Homestuck (I'd LOVE to have some sort of fansession, but I haven't figured anything SGRUB-related out about my fantroll yet as I'm focusing on her Alternian life so that won't happen for a while. But Cawbri(my fantroll) would love to make some friends and/or enemies! I'm looking for critique on her as well, since she's my first attempt at a serious fantroll)

Aaand that's about it at the moment for fandoms I'm into, sorry.

But! I am willing to try pretty much anything when it comes to non-fandom roleplays! I love making on-the-spot characters and shoving them into awkward situations, and I miiight be able to insert my two BJD(dolls I collect)-based characters into something as long as there is room in the setting for somewhat apathetic artificially-made lifeforms. I'm just less confident about how consistent I can keep them, but I'm willing to try!

Other info: I'm 19, prefer to roleplay through smail or DeviantArt note atm because I'm trying to avoid using my email(this can be negotiated but I hardly check my email these days), prefer not to assume that a romance is going to happen, prefer playing females, and am open to any kind of relationship between characters IF it makes sense for the characters and is developed in accordance. I can write detail but don't have the stamina for 3+ paragraphs unless really into the plot, which could definitely happen! I need something to work with and I usually try to match what my partner gives me. I have info about my characters on DeviantArt and can link if asked.

...there's no Steven Universe group, and the only Gravity Falls one is the one I made /shot

^_^ I'm not super familiar with most of what you mentioned - I'm of course the person who made Stuckies but tbh I was really into it up until about act 6. At that point, pretty much all my favorite characters were dead, hardly mentioned, or had developed in ways where I couldn't relate to them or otherwise didn't like them anymore, so I dropped it. Also with the gigapause, I'd forgotten most of what had happened but discouraged with the lack of characters, didn't want to re-read everything.

That said, I should still be able to offer some critique on your fantroll! After all, I still DO like acts 1-5 quite a lot! (mostly 1-4 but still.)

I am also somewhat familiar with tf2 so I might be able to help a bit there. I have played only a little, and I've watched every intro video at least once if not a million times. (They're just so funny!) I've also watched my brother play some when he was really into it ^_^;

Beyond that, my main ability to flesh out characters via roleplay (for myself) is to throw them into totally unrelated situations, so if you're interested at all in having random characters adapted to your universes and thrown at your characters just to see what happens, I'm happy to help there. Like I said, I'm really good at bending my characters into different circumstances. As this doesn't sound like you're really interested in it, that's fine, but still throwing it out as an option :)
