Male employees at Flourish and Blotts have to wear oxfords, slacks, a shirt, a vest, an ascot and they always have to have a watch.

Eeylops Owl Emporium has always been a little lax on the uniforms, it doesn't matter what you wear it is always torn and dirty. So Gwen decided to go with something durable like leather to protect the skin from talons. Instead of wearing full robes the female uniforms are given a skirt to make it a little more feminine. Boots are a must - because there is a lot of owl droppings and they can get slippery.
(the makeup is not part of the uniform - Gwen was just having fun... c;)

The employees for Madam Primpernelle's Beautifying Potions are required to wear the colours of black, rose pink and silver (skirts for the ladies, pants for the gentlemen) as well as be knowledgeable in all things beauty related and friendly to all who enter.
Make up isn't a requirement for the company feels that there is no standard of beauty and wish to convey to any who enter that being who you are is the ultimate act of beauty.

Comfortable and casual is the type of clothing worn at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. There is no uniform as such but an apron and wearing your hair up, if it is long, are vital. It is essential to have good comfy shoes, as you are on your feet for long periods of time. A cheery and friendly personality is an asset.

At Rosa Lee Teabag, we dress whimsically and in the style of a teaparty. We like frills, bows, and a proper cup of breakfast tea.
Lapis Lazuli, Ravenclaw

Katsumi, Ravenclaw
Katsumi decided to apply to work at Flourish and Blotts. She was allowed a fair amount of freedom in dress, as long as she kept it professional. For the ladies, blouses were a must, no tanks or midriff tops, and certainly no T-shirts. Slacks or a skirt for the bottom, avoiding all cargo pants and jeans. Heels should be short (stilettos apparently damage the wooden floors), and all shoes must be non-scuff. Jewelry was permitted, so long as it didn't get in the way. Katsumi invariably ended up with a pencil tucked behind her ear, as garments for ladies always seemed to lack any sort of reasonable pockets.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group

Ernessa thought something black and classy would be nice for the upper-class shop

At the Magical Menagerie, the most important part of the employee's clothing is that it is protective. Denim overalls are not required, though highly suggested. The tool belt and gloves are mandatory, however. Employees must be able to care for and handle all sorts of creatures (some that are quite dangerous!) so must be prepared.

Slug & Jiggers Apothecary
Poppy, Slytherin
Employees of Slug & Jiggers Apothecary must wear company-issued lab coats and ID badges. They must report to work in business casual attire; no jeans, sneakers, etc. Close-toed shoes are extremely important because of spills. Exposed skin should be kept to a minimum for the same reason. Hosiery is to be worn with dresses and skirts, and shorts are not permitted. Long hair must be tied back.

Second-Hand Bookshop

Uniform policies at the Second-Hand Bookshop are very basic, employees are expected to wear clothing that is comfortable, clean and in good repair. Jeans are recommended, however, shorts are acceptable during warm summer months. Close-toed shoes are required due to the frequent climbing on the book store ladders. The Bookshop can be drafty—especially in the winter. ... lightweight jackets are allowed if needed.

Eyelops Owl Emporium
I guess they wouldn't have uniforms with too many whistles and bells, owls might try to eat them. Very short or no cloak at all, it'll just get in the way.

Rosa Lee Teabag

Wanting to keep to both wonderment and tradition, Rosa Lee Teabag asks employees to dress in traditional yet whimsical tea party dress.

At Obscurus Books, the women's uniform represents the utmost in class and sophistication. A traditional ruffled shirt beneath a high-waisted black, flowing skirt is standard fare. Aside from its classical appeal, the black skirt is great for catching and covering up ink stains!

Paddy - Gryffindor
Twilfitt and Tatting's - avoiding the traditional robes (well, you need to be able to move easily to check the fit of the customers' garments), I've picked a traditional, formal-style shirt with a robe-like flow to the skirt

[edit] this challenge ends at 11:59pm tonight, so there's just time to get those last minute entries in! :D
