What are the rules on changing your username? Does anyone know the link if there is one? I remember vaguely reading about it somewhere but I don't remember where it was and I can't seem to find it nor can I find a topic to answer the question. Is it the same as with pet names? Inactive ones are free to grab or is that not a thing for usernames? I'd like to change mine to a more interesting one when I get the chance and I want to be prepared beforehand lol. (sorry if this is repeated but I just couldn't find a good post.) [Edit] I haven't changed my username in my nearly 5 years (just one day left until 5) of playing Subeta so I'm sorry if the question seems noobish haha.

yeah it's the same thing as inactive pets pretty much, you can only change your username once a month I think too. let me try to find the rules on it to quote

You cannot use any special characters except for _(underscore)
You may only have one underscore in your whole username.
The underscore in your name must not preceed or succeed your name (IE _username and username_ are invalid)
No spaces or periods(.). Your name change will fail. Alphanumeric characters ONLY. (and one underscore between alphanumeric characters)
Your new username must be longer than 2 characters. (Three is the minimum length)
Your old username will be on record forever.
You may only change your username once every (1) month, please choose wisely.

Thank you! I couldn't seem to locate them myself [edit] I skimmed the rule page. I was mostly wondering if you could take an inactive one. I saw one I liked and it seems like the user hasn't been on in a good while. Like since somewhere in 09.

if you go to the personal tab then to user dashboard, in the username box there's the change username link if you ever need to find it again :)
