Just like food eaten and books read, why don't we try having our pets play with items and get an achievement/title for that. Like you feed your pet 10 items. You would play with toys 10'times and your pet will be happy. When you get tired of doing that you can just attach a minion to make your pet happy. That way things can be used and take some of the congestion from the site.

I have a strong hunch that this is already on its way. :P

I guess I'll take care to put toys in my vault till this is implemented. Cleaning out my Kawaii gallery.

I wonder how many people started hoarding cheap toys like crazy after the newsletter came out? :D

...but still, I'd like to see this implemented. Currently playing with your pet is a bit pointless.

I have always wondered why this was never done but also dreaded it because that would mean more achievements I would need to go after, especially if they are the sub level achievements like "have your pet play with all the marionette dolls" or "have your pet play with all the kites" etc x.x ....and now I've given more ideas for it lol

I wonder if it would be affected the same way as feeding a pet once it is full--minions are the happiness equivalent to putting your pet into the resort. I'd like to keep my minions on my pets, but if these achievements do come out, I'd have to remove the minion to play with a pet to get use the items. That would have to be changed--but I think most people are okay with minions being eye candy. Maybe you could tick a box to prevent the minion from affecting the happiness level?

I also would hate it if these potential new achievements would have to be related to a single pet, like the Gourmand achievement. That already is such a tedious achievement to work towards! If achievements did come out it would be nice for them to be cumulative toys played with, even if you adopt a pet out or something.

I've been expecting this ever since they decided to remove the play option from plushies and beanbags. I suspect this won't become a thing until that job is finished.
