I made this suggestion awhile ago, probably around a year or so maybe? I dunno...

But with the recent news of updating the shops to lessen the amount of hoarding and load on the data base, here is my suggestion again. This is in regards to our pets treasure chests.

Now, some of us, have a lot of pets. I myself have 49. Not all of them are developed, but I still plan on doing things with them. However, those that have been, sometimes with the TC I opt to put very little into it. One has only six items- but there are unused slots on that pets profile and I know I will never use them. Never.

So, I think it might be a good idea to allow users to move empty treasure chest slots to other pets that they know will get used. For example, pets that have a chef theme or a book theme (I like a librarian) will need many slots- cuz they'll be having a lot of food or books in their TC. I have a pet that is a bookshop owner, he'll need a lot of slots. If I could move some of my other unused slots to his- I could hoard less things in places like a gallery or my vault and have it in my TC and will more likely be able to get rid of duplicates if I know my pet has that item already (or has read it or ate it).

I don't think it should be for free, it should cost to move per slot- but still, overall, maybe it would encourage people to use items more wisely and get rid of things they don't need? I dunno... but it's also a better use of space imo.

Tho, I don't know what the load is on pet TCs, so I'd like to understand if this is something that also would need limits eventually like shops, but if not, why not allow us to move slots around to our pets for a small fee? Just a thought.

- I like the idea as well, just for the fact that I have a lot of pets and a great deal of them have extra slots. I'm not sure how it would all be implemented, but maybe even have a sell-back option, since we can buy slots directly from the TC page now? Even if you could sell the slots back for a fraction, or just opt to move them directly to another pet, it'd be nice to be able to utilize the empty slots.

For awhile I had a ton of plushies in my vault waiting to go into one of my pet's TCs, so I can see where this would cause an issue with hoarding in the vault. Some option, whether by selling or moving directly, would be great!

Hm, I guess no one cares about this. Alright, I'll stop trying to get it noticed then. Way to waste space tho.

Sure, we can buy slots for a bit cheaper now, but random slots can get annoying when I don't want them on that pet. So i don't see why it'd be such a big deal to allow slots to be shifted according to whatever pet needs them. shrug.

I would like that, if it was impossible to move the starting slots on a pet. I think a pet gets 3 slots upon creation.

A pet couldn't go below 3 slots. Under any circumstance, even for paid.

Agreed otherwise someone could just make endless pets to get half price slots and then dump them, and someone adopting might get screwed over. I quite like this idea, but I would have to say that I wouldn't want it to be much of a discount? Treasure slots are an excellent sP sink and as much as I'd love to move the like 200 slots I'm not using on one pet, they've recently lowered the price a lot and I think it's important to keep sP sinks in action as effectively as possible.
