Hi, I wanted to add a gif to appear when you go to my shop, so I used underneath the text I had in there. Now nothing shows up. Before at least the text showed. Should I not be using sCode? Do I need some other version of style tags or something? Or should I be using the type of code that goes on profiles?

I think the shops actually use HTML if I'm remembering correctly? It's been so long since I even put anything in my description but I'm sure when I did I had to use the tags?

If not, it's possible you have shop layouts turned off maybe so it's just not showing? I used to do that all the time haha :P

Oh yeah I do have layouts turned off...would that override text that isn't contained in any tags? Like if my shop desc. simply said "hi" would it not show with layouts off? :o

I guess I will have to mess around with this. HTML is what it is called...I've been drawing blanks all day, haha

Yeah I'm pretty sure that having layouts turned off just completely negates anything people put in their shop descriptions, even if it's not in any kind of tags. Probably to stop people just putting huge giant text in their descriptions to make the page a million miles long maybe haha. Or just spamming the character limit. But when I had mine turned off, I had comment to trade etc in my description and even that didn't show up.

oh, interesting! thanks for letting me know, then. I think I turned them off because this person in advertising had a layout that didn't agree with my browser...but maybe i'll turn it back on now, that seems important!

I have had gifs at the top of my shop pages/galleries for almost a year now and suddenly they will not show up. I wonder if with the new shops its broken that being an option?

Gif image seems to work fine in my new shop Catastrophe I just used basic s-code
