I got an Endeavor and I'd like to zap it, but I'm afraid of having its gender be changed. Has this been changed lately? I've been zapping another pet constantly for the past month and it hasn't happened, but that might just mean it's rare...

I'm curious about this too. Can the zapper assign genderless pets a male/female gender?

Im really not sure as I only use the experiment zapper, so far havent had it do that. But if you are worried the is pretty cheap, though the genderless is more expensive.

So if you plan to use that one I would zap until you get what you want /then/ use the genderless. Though if its just about male or female it isnt too expensive to change if it does happen :)

i can't confirm anything for certain because i haven't used the zapper without the 'experiments only' option in a long time, but i doubt they would remove part of its functionality without saying something, so chances are it probably does still change gender. and yes, i believe it can change the gender of a genderless pet to male or female, and i also believe there is a very small chance of it changing a male or female pet to genderless, but these are all very uncommon zaps, especially in the scheme of every possible thing the zapper could do.
