Triage is probably your best approach. Even then I'm not going to lie, it's going to be a very hard month for you. I don't know how much of this you already do but I'm writing it all as it comes to mind.

They/Them...
Ahh sorry didn't know the country. Ignore links then.
As for the housing. I'll say this about it: the dangers of housing are less than the dangers of the street. At this point it doesn't sound like you can afford to be picky, so at least look into it.
They/ThemIt's a lot of self-restrain, but it will have to do until you get another job. Good luck!

Ok I'm going to bite... why do you need to live alone when you have two bedrooms?
They/ThemI'm a loner and I need my own space. I hate when people go in and out constantly at all times during the night, bringing friends over, parties, ect.
I'm an introvert and wouldn't want anyone to mess my place up.
Ahhh then it's a want rather than a need. It'd be worth considering even if it's not ideal for your tastes.
They/ThemIf you are close to possibly being home/cant afford food/pay your bills, you might want to rethink having a roommate, there are people out there who are introverts as well looking for a place to rent and having a roommate could very well solve all of your money problems by giving your that few extra hundred a month. Make a contract and get them to read over it and sign it. Not all roommates are terrible. Id rather have a roommate and money to buy groceries and pay my bills with than to live in a cold empty apartment starving. Just saying
, not sure which province you reside in, but re food troubles, have you considered a not-for-profit food exchange program? (BC has Quest, where you can buy food for half the price). I found this link while checking if Quest was Canada-Wide or just BC (It's just BC, but hopefully the site will help): canadian helpful agencies
As for rent woes, your options are limited. Maybe look for a one bedroom instead? Or, as much as you hate to hear it, a roommate would help with some of the costs. You can advertise at colleges and other place that you want a quiet roommate, heck even say "Introvert would be most welcome". I know it's loathe to live with the roulette of roommates, believe me I've been there (and currently am actually) but I found that those who are students are very much introverted (or have no time/interest to distract themselves with parties or other people).
Other than that, hugs and good luck.
