Achievement Wardrobe Counting?

For the Achievement page, how often does it update? I've been stuck at 4,434 / 5000 items in the Wardrobe tab for about a week, even after a lot of buying.
I know it's not all that fast with wardrobe achievements, as I'm still missing several of the new ones for which I have all the items, but that particular achievement I think is based on your all-time high amount of items. So like, last year I removed a ton of unused items to sell them before attaining an achievement tier, and it didn't ever update to the lower number.
the last time that achievement triggered for me was, when I put an item from my inventory in the wardrobe and followed the link. If I open the wardrobe from the sidebar, nothing happens.
to trigger the ones (like SBQ sets) you need to look at the requirements on the achievement page. annoying as hell, but it works. and don't click to fast x'D
Oh that's weird. But it explains a lot, I mostly just put an item into it via the little side page after I buy it from a shop.
If you took anything out of your wardrobe - you have to get back to the highest number you had last before it starts going up again. CWs don't count.
