Anyone collect figures in general? I purchased a Hot Toys Kylo Ren about a bit ago and I loooove it. The articulation on these things! So what's your muse(s)?

I love horses, so I tend to look for horse related items. I sink some of my money into statues (not the Breyer Horses toys, even though I know some of the rare ones are collectable), but I tend to like glass, porcelain and bisque. I have about 14-15 statues already and they range from porcelain and bisque :)

I haven't bought any recently because I don't have the funds at the moment, but I'm looking to purchase another piece when I do.

p.S. The top of my book shelf is loaded in them. I'm running out of room to put them.

Not including the opened toys that I got when I was under 18, I have quite a collection of unopened action figures. Most of my decor is action figures. I have 3 separate sets of KISS figures. A collection of TMNT (primarly Raphael). Some Alien, some Terminator. Nightmare on Elm Street. Various Star Wars (mostly Lando). LotR. Matrix. The Crow. Harry Potter. A bunch of Funko Pop figures. Random odds and ends. And we just finally got around to collecting Star Trek. If you're actually interested, I can go around my apartment and take pictures of my walls. My father was a Hot Wheels collector, so this is in my blood.

That actually sounds REALLY nice. I looked them up just to be sure what I was talking about and they look amazing. Where do you get something like these guys?

Haha I open ALMOST everything. Even what I pay several hundreds for. I like to play with articulation and stuff. I'm one of those people. ~ (And I'll be 25) That's awesome! I have A LOT of Star Wars, some LotR, Resident Evil, Comic Book stuff, and various whatevers. I'm actually looking to downsize a bit, so my SWs collection can continue.

I buy them online. You can find antiques for cheap or retired models for a decent price. You can see some of my collection in this picture.

Oh cool. I thought you probably got them online, but I also wondered if there were shops that sold them. I buy a lot of my figures online as well.

Oh my gosh I was no way prepared for the amount of cute I was about to unveil. The horses are MAGNIFICENT, but the fluffs and feathers. I'm squealing. xD

I heard that Funkos could be worth something in the future? I don't know because I don't really know much about them.

Hot Toys are so amazing but they're so expensive. For good reason, but I just can't do it lol. I'd love to have basically anything Marvel, especially Iron Man.

I had to wait until my husband was up so I could get the bedroom. Next to the desk. Some of the windowsill, cat knocked a ton off. Part of the kitchen. Bookshelf, there's more that supposed to go on there, but we thought we were moving this month, so some of it was packed away. Door into the bedroom. Opposite side of above. Far side of the closet. Most of the tmnt ones. I used to have three HUGE boxes of open TMNT toys but my parents sold them all at auction without my knowledge. Panning further down from the tmnt toys. Above/around the bed. I also have numerous totes, my childhood toy box, and various smaller boxes filled with opened toys. Toys are my jam.

Marvel will always be worth something in the future, especially if you start collecting vintage figurines still in their original packaging.

My interests are typical, Lego, Transformers, MLP, Lalaloopsy. With Lego no item is unaltered, sometimes I switch the dominance to left. I tend to open them, I'm not some kind of hoarder. But recently my enthusiasm has diminished because I feel that most themes are hokey and droll. I prefer to buy the ones I would have like when I was younger.

Mostly vocaloid and other anime figures orz. I've got a lot of Miku's and one Calne Ca figure!

I collect funko pops and dorbz.

Wow that's a whole lotta pops. I mainly collect Disney pops and Marvel pops.

I dont have too many Disney, but theres a few i want but they are harder to find here :( I love my Marvel pops though :D

Which ones are you after, maybe I could take a look in my local comic store for you.

I just bought a $107 rare glass horse statue to add to my collection. I just about died when I saw my bank statement after the conversion was done, which came up $144 CND.
