Crow, rescued from Carson Shelter in Southern California in December, was stolen this Thursday. I run a dog rescue and he has a beautiful woman ready and waiting for adopt him who is now on edge and frightened of never seeing him. I am trying to get him back ASAP. He was seen Friday 3-4PM off of Alondra and Studebaker in Cerritos, and has been seen on E Monroe Avenue in Orange. I am trying to track exactly where he is but I am so incredibly ill and cannot drive around to find him myself, I can hardly get out of bed. Please, if you live in Southern California, please keep an eye out for this stolen dog. If you locate him immediately contact [link]http://www.hprescue.org[/link]
You should post his picture on any lost pet Facebook group for your area. You can also try submitting his picture to the local news. Good luck! He looks like a sweetheart!
Oh he's posted in a loooooot of places :)
Just checking to see if you found the dog yet.
How devastating! I used to work in Orange and live very close nearby. Do you have a post on Facebook or anything like that? Something I might be able to share with my community's Facebook page?
Also if I can ask, how was he stolen? I have a very sweet, gentle large breed dog who would approach and be friendly to any strangers and I would be just beyond devastated if someone were to wander off with him ): he's rarely outside unsupervised but I can't imagine how painful to lose a pet like that!
His foster stole him, sadly; people in rescue just can't be trusted
I'll PM you later!
that's super devastating wow, my dog is a rescue as well and I would be BEYOND upset if his foster tried to keep him... I adopted mine from Labradors & Friends, I think they're based more towards Riverside than Orange though. I'll keep an eye out, I'm in Orange frequently. So sorry this happened, are the police aware of the situation/what was their input if so? Super curious about this since it's so close to home.
