Over there, I see references to UFA and low ids, and I have no idea what that means. Help me out?

Up for Adoption I believe

low IDs are just the pet's identification number, some people like lower ID numbers, like under 1m, 500k, etc

I really, really should have guessed the 'up for adoption' one headdesk

Where can you find your pet's id number? I'm looking on the pets page and the individual profiles, but I don't see where that is?

At the end of the url of their profile :)

I. Huh. I'm on the pet's profile, but the url just goes subeta.net/pets/(pet's name) and then nothing after- no numbers in the url at all. I know I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

Edit: Wait- I think I got it. For some reason going to the profile via the pet page just gives the name in the url. Going to the profile via the dropdown menu on the header bar thing gives the id in the url.

Nooot sure why there would be a difference, but at least I have what I need.

each pet has two URLs; one is formatted like "https://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=IDNUMBER" and the other is formatted "https://subeta.net/pets/PETNAME". you can access the first URL by clicking on your pet's image on your user profile. for instance, your pet Lucinia has an ID of 5863111.

the difference between the two URLs is that the first one will always be the same for your pet, even if you change its name, whereas the latter will change if you change your pet's name.

Oh, that makes sense! I forgot you can rename pets. Thanks for the explaination. (I will eventually get the hang of things around here :D )
