I have over 4000 forum group mentions because I haven't played in a while and I'd REEEALLLY like to not have them! Is there a way to delete them all that I'm missing?

I don't actually think there is a way to delete them all at once. your best bet is to go here and delete them 100 at a time

Hoooooly shit. And what's worse is this page isn't really working for me. It'll work once and then I have to refresh and hope it does it again. I wonder if someone could delete my events if I filed a ticket. It's really turning me off from the site at the moment.

It's worth a shot! I'd probably file a ticket if I were you. Let me know if they do help you through a ticket, this question occasionally pops up and I am never sure if that's something they will actually help with.

Admins are unable to clear forum mentions. It's something a programmer has to do, so the lovely is putting in a programmer report for me, though said it might be a while before they can delete them. Right now deleting them 100 at a time is incredibly slow going because the page is all kinds of irritable.

Ugh that sucks you have to wait for a programmer to handle them. At least it can be handled though. I kinda wonder if Amber could do that too, she can do some things but I'm not sure if that's in the scope of things she can do.

I guess it's not the worst problem I could be having, it's just irritating. I wish the site didn't decide to mess up every time I try to get back into playing. If it's not one thing, it's another. I did just get a cool notification saying "We here at Subeta are thankful for all of you, our amazing and dedicated users. We appreciate the time and dedication you spend on the site and wanted to give you a little something to show that. You've been given 150CSC!" I'm not sure how much CSC I had before, so I can't be sure it actually went up 150CSC and I don't want to bug admins further tonight, so I'll just hope it did!

Yeah at least you can delete the events yourself, though that's really inconvenient Hm that might be from thanksgiving? I think that's when they gave that gift out... I don't know if anyone had problems receiving the csc, and you got the notification so you probably got it :)

[edit] I noticed something interesting. This ping from you comes in as "Groups" instead of "Forum Mention" on the notification categories.

yours is also coming in as groups, how strange! also, i only just got that notification minutes ago! i didn't have much going on in my "other" category, which is what it shows up in, so it must have been new.

I made a bug thread about it, I think it has to do with this thread's name and it just gets confused. I pinged you to it so we can test it out though!

I just got another "Other" notification just now from the resort and it was dated 2015, so now I'm wondering if that other message was from Thanksgiving as you said. I'm not sure why they weren't showing up? That's confusing me, too. Stay unpredictable, Subeta!

they weren't showing up because you have so many forum mention pings probably. as you delete them, other events will show up :)

I figured they would since they were in a separate section and my dance notifs were showing up fine! So confusing.

newer ones probably show up over older ones? might be a time thing :P
