Hey Subeta, 12:30 EST is the Vernal equinox, making it almost officially spring! Are you happy or sad to see winter go? Or do you, like me, live in a place that still has some winter weather on the horizon?
Spring makes me feel really hopeful. Even though it's supposed to snow here tomorrow, nature is sloooowly coming back to life.

I love winter, so I'm sad to see it go. I really hate the storms and heat/humidity that come with spring and summer. However, I do look forward to spring because it means it's time for all the pretty flowers and gardening and lots of time spent outside enjoying long hikes and picnics. If it weren't for the storms and the anxiety they cause me I'd be really excited about spring.
I am glad winter is over!! I have been ready for spring for a bit now! n-n Im sure the heat down here will quickly change my mind though :p

Where I live, we have seasonal extremes; our winters are brutal, but so are our summers. I can handle the cold, but I can't handle the heat; I'm sad to see winter go 'cause I know what's coming next. It also doesn't help that our springs are ugly; slush and mud everywhere, and the flowers come and go so fast that if you blink you'll miss 'em. D=
I'm glad that winter is almost gone! Although that won't be for a while here...

I feel the same way. Dark and cold is such a bummer. I'm glad it's getting springy where you are!
Storms can be rough :( Hopefully spring will be peaceful and save all those sticky stormy days for summer.
Haha, me too, me too. I know once I get home (to a much warmer climate than where I am right now) I'll start rethinking how much I wanted warm weather, especially when the humid summer kicks in. Still, as I'm looking out my window at snow...it doesn't seem so bad.
That's too bad :( post-winter slush is the worst, everything's all muddy....
My sentiments exactly~ At least we know it's coming!

I meant tornado producing storms, so I don't want them saved for summer either! :P I'll take a good rain storm any day though.
Ohh, yikes D: those are scary. Let's skip those all together. My area has started getting them now and then, just within the last couple of years--thanks climate change!--and they're so scary and destructive. I can't imagine how it is where they're more common/stronger.

Me too. It's still chilly today, but tomorrow is anticipated to be a beautiful 75. My body is so ready. And I have been blessed by the spring gods and goddess - I dont get allergies. :D
Ahh, sounds so lovely~ Haha, lucky you! I get a little pollen sneeziness, but it's a small price to pay for warm weather and pretty flowers!

I am so ready for Spring/Summer. I live in Southwest Florida and even thought it doesn't get as cold here as it does in Maine, it's still get chilly. Plus the water in the gulf will start rising and should be 80 degrees soon and that's when it's nice to go swimming.
Where I live, March started out nice. It was so nice, you could literally just wear a hoodie, but needed a coat at night. It's been back in the colder temperatures. I went to check the weather today and we have a special weather statement in effect of a substantial winter storm.
There's a certain smell this time of year, when all the snow has melted and stuff is starting to sprout in the mud. I don't know how to describe it except it smells like plants are germinating. It's awesome.
I'm looking forward to nature parks, hiking, just spending quality time outdoors in general.
I am not a winter person at all, mainly because I strongly dislike the snow, so I'm glad spring is here! But to be honest, at least in my area, we had a super mild winter this year. Had some snow, but not as much as in the past. Not to mention, it didn't get nearly as cold as it did the previous two or three winters.
I suppose I am also fortunate though because I don't have allergies. I'm just looking forward to not too hot/not too cold weather. I also love how pretty the trees look when they're blooming for that short one or two weeks, and I already see some starting!
