I'm not sure who you were trying to turn into but uh... yeah, whatever it was failed miserably. I think you accidentally got some kind of animal hair into the potion instead? Let's get you over to the infirmary so we can get this all sorted out.

This week's theme is Polyjuice Potion. Oh no! You thought it would be cool to try to use the polyjuice potion to creep into a rival houses common room, but you've messed up somehow! Instead of human hair, you ended up putting in an animal hair, and now you're an animal/human hybrid! In order for the Matron to take care of you, you have to look in a mirror and tell her exactly which animal you accidentally converged with!

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) You must have both human and animal qualities 2.) Do not choose a dog or cat, be more creative! 3.) You are a hybrid much like Hermione was in the 2nd book-- not all hybrids are beautiful creatures ;)

Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 House Points!

This challenge will end Thursday, March 24th at 11:59PM!

This might be a stupid question, but HAs aren't really my thing on Subeta. Is there a good generator still since Arvee closed? (if generators are allowed?) I didn't participate in the last HA challenge because I wasn't sure.

generators are allowed, however, there aren't any. BUT you can use the regular Subeta wardrobe to make any avatar you want, just check the box marked "all items" and you can make an avatar using items you don't actually own :)

That's amazingly clever, I wish I'd thought of that. I don't tend to think of them as animals, though. ^.^;

Megan accidentally mixed her Kirin tail hail instead of 's hair; (she wanted to play a prank on her friend.) Unfortunately, one of her tiny feathers from a bird she had not yet identified fell into the potion without her noticing as well.

Looking into the mirror, he was surprised to discover that a monster was looking back. Instead of looking like who he wanted, he had sprouted moth-like wings, wings similar to the Luna Moth. Somehow, the magical cousin to the Muggle world's counterpart, the Luna Dragon Moth, had made its way into his potion.

Aderyn had decided to use some polyjuice potion in order to turn into her girlfriend as a joke. What she hadn't planned on was still having some hair from the Fjord Horses they'd been studying in Care of Magical Creatures on her hands when she'd dropped some of Emmy's hair into her potion. As it was, she was left with a beautiful, thick, silky coat of brown fur with some white colored leg fur to match.

Samantha Slytherin Trying to get into Ravenclaw cause they have the best books... must have gotten Mooney, Beth's griffin, fur in the potion....

Whether it was a lizard scale or snake scale is unsure, but something unfortunate got mixed in Jamie's polyjuice potion.
