I've been playing for almost nine years. This is how dumb I am.

The one thing that irritated me most about this site was how whenever someone bought something from my shop, it would bring up an event that would force me to stare at the event sidebar until clicking the 'x' actually worked, and all over 100 sP or something equally minute. I hated that since that sidebar was the easiest route to my profile, bank, cash shop, etc, and my shop is always loaded with tons of cheap items. I hated it even more cause I figured out how to have the profits in each shop appear directly on my sidebar, forcing me to sit through those events until they disappeared just to collect the sP they were notifying me about.

Today - just now, actually - I learned that not only can I change my settings so that events don't automatically swap my sidebar over to the event side, but I can disable events from my shop entirely.

Here's the dumb part: I knew about both of these features, but inexplicably didn't connect the dots as to them being the solution to my problems. For nine years.

Oh I know how annoying that can be :P I have two shops up actually, one with that setting enabled and one disabled, so I know when one of my more expensive items sells. I couldn't imagine living with the setting enabled on my cheap shop after I got a bunch of stuff in there and autopriced. it would be incredibly annoying.

pressing the X once works, it just takes a minute or so to go away.

...Wait. I know you can disable events from switching to the events tab... but can you disable events from JUST your shop, or did I read that wrong? Cause if you can do that, then I'm dumb too. But in my defense I've only been playing four like, four years. >>;

Yeah you can, go into your shop and check the box that says disable events from this shop.

It's not dumb if you didn't know that, as opposed to knowing that and simply not realizing that I needed to do that like I did. xD
