Unfortunately I will not be accepting written references at this time, but I will happily design you a character based on specifications (eg. a cute deer, a pretty character, a faerie etc.) for an extra 3mil. I can most certainly draw quad/animals as well, though my only example is in watercolour:

Digital

I am also offering digital sketch pieces like this one: (please drag it to the url to see the details better!) for the same price as my traditional work. They won't be coloured, but there will be basic shading and lighting, as well as a gradient between two or more colours. Feel free to specify colours, otherwise I will use the two colours most present in your character. Sorry my example is a little dark.

I would like payment pre-drawing, but this is negotiable! If you are very nervous, I will accept it afterwards.

I realize you've got your hands full, so before I bog you down too strongly, I thought I'd ask...my boyfriend caught a look at the artwork on this site and is COMPLETELY OBSESSED with having something similar made of our awesome, one-eyed warrior kitten.

Ah, those are very very cute! So you'd be looking for something similar to that for your cat? If I could get some a general idea of what you want outfit-wise I would be more than happy to give it a shot. The styles I'm selling at the moment are quite simple, so if you want something a lot more detailed/coloured/painted like those images on the site I have prices in the (albeit closed) art shop in my signature for my more detailed/painted art- which I'd definitely be willing to haggle lower if necessary. It just depends on what you're looking for! I would be able to provide sketches etc. to make sure you're happy with the finished product too. Just let me know!

Got some links from the boyfriend for the tone he's sort of thinking - I'm not sure how familiar you are with D&D or similar games, but he's wanting a fantasy theme and mentioned a "thief/ranger type" (I can give greater detail this afternoon, right now I'm about to head out the door with a toddler to deliver lunch to her grandma). I would be doing the image as a digital painting! The style of those images is pretty painterly, with just a touch of lineart. I'm pretty familiar with those sorts of games, don't worry! I used to play DnD with my friends. Thank you for providing the references! They're a more realistic anthro style, so I will definitely try to work with that. I'll get working on a sketch asap for your approval. Would you be willing to pay half with the sketch if it's satisfactory (sP, CSC, however you'd like to pay) or would you prefer to pay afterwards? Anything is fine by me, this project seems like a lot of fun. I want to make sure I can get it totally right since this seems really important to you.
