Now, as someone with hundreds of items in their wardrobe like majority of users, I find I'm terrible with designing outfits/coming up with a good look. So what if we could randomize our avatars with things from the wardrobe?

Now before everyone jumps up and yells why this is a bad idea, I want to make it as simple as possible.

Can't decide what to wear on your head? Randomize it. Lipstick not looking right? Randomized to a paler color. I would expect something like this to randomize either one item per category, or randomize a category you choose. IE randomize a while outfit with one click, taking one item per category or picking randomize on the 'hands' category and seeing what you get.

I imagine this would make for some zany combos, it's true. But I see other websites do it and it turns out to be really fun.

Well, I wouldn't like my avatar being put in a random outfit with one piece per layer. I assume that loading that would take ages. And I - as a wardrobe collector - have some very nasty wardrobe items that I wouldn't wanna see pop up on my avatar.

I'd prefer a category that would be like 'Sort by Name' but then with 'Sort Randomly', because many layers have so few options that it seems redundant to randomize every single one of them. I'd just like to be able to randomize my list of chest items so that I could find an item that I would normally overlook.

Sort randomly would be a great option IMO. I tend to skim over the same stuff in my wardrobe sometimes, and completely forget I own things.

I would be all for a "sort randomly" option!

Not crazy about creating a random outfit. However, I do LOVE the randomized sort suggestion.

If you have trouble designing an outfit I would recommend joining an HA cult. There are many good ones, but I would look for one that encourages you to change daily.

I'm part of Daily Item, where an affordable item is chosen daily and you have to use that item to create an HA. Experimenting and changing your look daily can help you develop those skills. And its fun!

Related: I miss having the option to sort items by the order they were added to the wardrobe, so I can view new items first.

I like the idea of randomizing one item from a specific layer.

This is still an option.

Sort by ‘added to wardrobe’ = sort items starting with the newest items you added you your wardrobe Sort by ‘added to site’= sort items starting with the newest items added to the site as a whole

Randomized sorting? I wouldn't use it, but okay

Random items added to your HA? No thanks. I'd rather have the normal wardrobe features all fixed/included before we get things like this.
