Me and were talking about the difficulty in getting the one item you're after when creating and thought it would be great if, for an additional set amount of sP (and this can be reasonably high), you could have the option to choose what it is you receive from your creation (it would still require the tokens and ingredients of course) in much the way the zapper lets you select an experiment only option for X amount of sP.
It would be a fairly good sP sink and help us not waste absurd amounts of ingredients on the wrong thing (and possibly bring some stability to pricing).

Heck yes xD I would be willing to pay (a reasonably high price) for this feature ^.^
Me too xD
maybe I get a kick out of you guys getting the wrong thing :X
What if the SP option was added like, a couple weeks after the new recipes are added, so that new items don't insta-lose value?
@ Amber
:O So very mean!!!!
Not sure if y'all use this feature or would find this useful
So mean :P DO MY TEARS FEED YOU? xD
Added that bit to the first post because I can totally get behind that idea too.
I havent played around in Alchemy in a long while so Im not sure how much of a pain it is down there. BUT I honestly LOVE Amber's response of getting a kick out of everyone getting the wrong thing. That is pretty much how I see Subeta staff. Sitting back in the office giggling and thinking of new ways to drive people insane. AND I am not saying that is a bad thing. I find it hilarious myself. grins
I'm on the fence for this. Even though I'd usually be all for adding an sP sink I'd personally use, kinda iffy. On the one hand, the only expensive aspect are the (wearable and book) tokens, tinctures and cards usually being fairly cheap. So if you are patient and or lucky you can replenish at least a small stock of tokens in a semi-short amount of time and layer cards/tinctures much faster.
On the other hand, I hate chance items. The value of older items is absurd because of the lack of items/time put into getting stuff into the pool (it was broken, so it's at least understandable !). Getting a large number of one item and nothing else/very few of anything else without getting at least one of the item you want is very, very frustrating and only makes the older items price plummet further.
I think perhaps older items could be retired ? At least it would make things a bit less annoying, in some cases, especially since they plan on getting more items into there. I'd be happy to donate items to it. We all know I can't refrain from drawing the darker items.
could also stop gorging on our tears to come up with some different combos :p I would have bet the new shirts would have taken two tincs each. One for the shirt and one for the design. That could have also been done for the older corsets, but ah well. It'd have at least changed things up, limited how many are the exact same combos (or lessened the chance), etc. The heart ones could have used up to five tincs (black/gray/white, red, blue, yellow).
While I wouldn't be against an sP aspect added to it, I'd much rather see it tied to Alchemy level. Ideally I'd want a system up where like it'd ask what item you wanted to create and for each level that you are you'd get that percent increase in chance to obtain that item, but that might be a little complicated and perhaps it wouldn't be that fun if you were only getting a 25% increase at level 25.
So I'd settle for maybe the chance to make specific items being unlocked at certain levels. So at level 10 you get the chance to make the smaller, less popular items and as your level increases your ability to make more items increases and of course if an additional sP aspect wants to be added to that then I'd be fine.

I'm not keen on this. The chance element is half the fun and challenge of alchemy; it's an imprecise science. You might as well just buy the item from user shops if you're that determined to spend money on an item. Also, throwing sp at the problem doesn't make much sense in terms of process; why would money allow you to get you the thing you want in a magical combination?
I'd be passibly ok with it if there was another hindrance alongside the financial hit, such as lowering your alchemy score for using dubious methods.
I would never do 5 colors for something like the heart shirt. THe Tincture is for the main color of the item. Sometimes we do 2-3 colors, but that's because it's pretty evenly a few colors. Even the explanation of how the Alchemist works shows that generally to get a color like turqouise is when you'd throw two tinctures in. The alchemist is set up to be a chance thing and it likely won't change soon.
We have another thing coming out soon that's similar (as in you know you have a list of things you have to throw in) but not a chance factor (you won't be getting a random item out that fits the thing).
I'm on the fence. I'm all for instant gratification and getting what I want, even if it means more sP, but having multiple options means the wearable token keeps value pretty well because people keep needing it.
I'm all for paying extra for the item I would prefer. I can only give out so many extras as gifts and I hate feeling like I'm wasting tokens especially the wearable token which even though its rarity is 'normal' is expensive if you can't restock it and seems not to be given out as a quest prize that often either.

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
I think instead of paying for things out of the current pool, we could do something like after a year, items retire out of the pool and you can buy those up front (for a specific amount of sP) from Zosi. We could tie it in with levels like if you're level x, you have the opportunity to buy old things from your level and below. I'll talk with about it! :)
(Ideally if we do something like this, I'd like to get a good steady amount of items coming out first!)
So we're finally getting the cooking feature that has been hyped since before Luminaire?
My thinking was black + white = light gray (or gray + black = dark gray) + the other colors. The recent wigs didn't go off of just the main color (at least for the overlay), and some of them could be a mixture but are just one tincture, so I figured it was a bit random when you chose the number of tinctures.
Oh good, the baking stuff won't be random ? :p

ehh I don't really agree with this suggestion. it seems like we're slowly killing everything with rng in it so people can pay a bit more to get what they want.
