It's virtual money for a virtual pet site. If I wanted to buy 5 pet slots I'd have to spend 100 real life dollars. I think subeta should lower the csc price of the pet slots. I have a problem where I compulsively create characters and when I actually can't because I'm out of pet slots it drives me insane! Wish my brother would join subeta just to hold pets for me. GAH!!! And I'm really poor too I can't afford a freaking 40 million sp for 1 pet slot.

Another complaint is how strict all the forum rules are. I mean you make one mistake BY ACCIDENT everyone jumps down your throat about it. This is the right forum to complain right or am I gonna get yelled at some more.

I was going to buy csc but the prices are outrageous here in Canada. I bet in the states its super cheap or whatever but here because our dollar isn't worth as much, plus with tax it'd be like all my recreation money gone...

Someone needs to make a new pet site. One without limits on pets but more like subeta and neopets. I'm not a big fan of Aywas I have an account there but I feel like I'm insignificant in that world. At least here the staff sometimes talk to me. sigh

If I had the know how and resources and skills I'd totally do it myself. I'd make a brand new pet site! Sounds like a lot of fun actually! But I don't have any idea how to do that at all.

Yeah you're all probably super rich and 20bucks for 1 pet slot isn't such a big deal, but to me someone who has to fight to keep their freaking house cuz of money crap, its an awful lot...

I'm pretty sure I have never seen anyone 'yell' at someone in the forums. People often take offense over the most innocent things.

There are probably tons of limitless characters/pet sites, but they don't work because the players have no sense of achievements or any goals to return to the site.

I am someone who buys pet slots. With sP. I do quests and restocking everyday, making my daily total 3-5M minimum. I save up for weeks for pet slots, gold accounts, CSC etc. I bought 2 CSC pet slots so far for 2000 CSC each and 1 pet slot for 20M. You have to be active on a site to unlock new stuff.

You make an insanely amount of sP with the slightest amount of work, too.

Pet slots used to be much much more. They have cut the prices. As for the price of CSC, at least you CAN use sP to buy CSC so you don't have to spend any real money (unlike neopets). And sP is really easy to make on this site. As an owner of 58 pet slots, I don't think it is super difficult to get a good amount of pets with work.

I know you know this...what was the original price? I know they were last cut from $40 to $20 most recently but weren't they more before?

i mean i hate how expensive it's gotten to buy CSC with sP, but i'm happy we have that option. just do your quests and save up. it'll take time, but it's 100% achievable. it sucks, but you can do it! plus it's more exciting to achieve a goal when you have to work for it (it's not fun to do the work but that's another story)

source: i'm broke and haven't bought CSC with actual money since like 2012 (or whenever they stopped accepting UGCs) but still save up sP to buy some if i really want something in the cash shop

I once did those little jobs they used to offer to get a pet slot. I got 60-90 cents in csc per job and each job took maybe half an hour. It took FOREVER but I made my 40$ without spending any real money and got my pet slot. It's so much easier now...I have like 5 empty slots right now just from site events etc. Just do quests and you will have enough sp to buy one in a week or two

There are pet slots in the millionaire center, and you have the opportunity to get one every year, after two years on site. I had to sell half of a gallery to afford them, but I got them! It was an achievement and I'm proud of myself for doing it!

Pet slots are not meant to be gotten by everyone, and pets are heavy on the servers. I have a hard time opening my pet pages, and I have 60 pets.

If you could just get any pet without effort, it would make pets worthless, and good names would be impossible to have because well, everyone can have infinite pets.

Also, if you have issues with creating too many OCs, remember that they don't have to be on Subeta. You can use a repository website, such as toyhou.se or charahub to host them

You can make, what, 4-5m from quests a day and that isn't even from selling the items? 2 days = 100 csc So that's what 40 days for 2k csc if you ignore the millionaire center slots? Goals are good. I don't know why this site needs so much instant gratification.

While I wont argue that $100 is expensive, I don't think you're supposed to just buy the slots. I think the intention there is you're supposed to work for it using other methods. Two days of quests for five pet slots is very reasonable.

Also, I want to point out that asking a family member to create an account just so they can hold pets for you is pretty much a way to bypass the no-multi account rule.

Like, if you have to ask someone to join the site, don't use them just as a mule to hold pets for you.

While it's pretty easy to make sP to buy CSC with, I do wish the prices would stop doubling every year after Black Friday :/

Quests are a really good and easy (albeit tedious) way of getting sP. I just do Shinwa, Wizard, Library, Pete, and Quentin and make enough sP for all the stuff I want--including pet slots. Shinwa can potentially give out some valuable items, which sell fairly easily, and wizard tokens are also easy enough to sell. There's a chance of getting mage amulets from Quentin, which also sell fast. All the other items I get that I can't use I just throw into my shop, then when I have a GA I autoprice it all at once.

You just have to keep plugging at it! You can also potentially get free slots from events, like the snow sculpture contest a bit ago. And, after your second year of being on the site, you can get a free pet slot each year from the loyalty box.

I have 48 pets on site, and that already takes a long time to load. Now, imagine that with unlimited possibilities and consider how long it'd take to load, 70, 80, 100, 200, 300 some odd pets.

It would, quite literally, kill the servers. At one point in time, the original pet slots, back when there were only mystical plushies( no longer used for pet sots on site, only for plushie collection) were 60.00 and 100.00 respectively in US currency.

That was the only way to get slots beyond the limited amount allowed on gold account and even then it was capped at 20. The price was reduced, the cap amount allowed became higher and eventually the plushies to get slots were done away with entirely because of there being other avenues to own pets, but my point was then and is now that pet slots were NEVER meant to be easy to get in the first place.

The site and how to even get pet slots now is very different from the 4-5 years ago when the only way was to pay the exorbitant amount for the plushies.

Now, there's cash shop, millionaire center, loyalty box( you get it for 2 years and ever year thereafter and can choose to get a pet totem) and occasionally they're offered as prizes for events.

Even when the pet slots were only through plushies, people saved sp like mad to buy them and it is possible to do that now for slots.

Also, reasonably you can get several million through just quests alone per day. Sp on subeta has always been pretty easy to get.

Those were the days, lol. Back when you couldn't even buy CSC for sP even!

This is part of the luxury of pet slots unfortunately. It's not especially difficult to make a lot of sp though :)

Also, the 'forum rules' aren't strict. When you post on the forums, people do have the right to disagree we something you say. As long as it's kept civil, it's not wrong.
