I noticed that there isnt a particular way to send group messages via sMail which is kind of an inconvenience for me :c If there is a way - I'm an absolute derp and just don't know how to do it. But if not, I think it would be pretty nifty to have this addition ;o; Honestly I just need it to send to the group Im rping with for little OOC and IC updates ;u;

The sMail system as a whole needs a massive overhaul. D: The pointy brackets (the ones you use in coding, no blooming idea what their proper name is) break mails every damn time, the reply input box needs to be at the top, and a heap of other things. Like exporting mails and no more weird cutoffs for long-running mails. Group mails/chats would be a great feature too!

Reminds me, weren't we supposed to have a livechat on the site at some point or another? I distinctly remember that being in testing a few times. Wonder what happened to that idea...

Thanks! And yup, the sMail system is long overdue for a revamp. Maybe they'll get to it once they finish updating the v3 wardrobe, or they update the site layout (if that layout update ever sees the light of day in the first place).

God yes... the brackets break everything. Scode doesn't even work in smaisl properly (WHY IS MY CODE GETTING EATEN?) Preview don't work. Just... need a whole new smail system, but I'm afraid of that every getting started because it might never get finished.

But ditto on the mass smailing. That would be so nice.

i made a suggestion for a (mostly aesthetic) sMail overhaul ages ago and keith said he wants to completely redo it but there's a lot of other coding and programming things that need to be fixed first so basically the site still needs that 'full recode' which means... y'all can probably look forward to an upgraded sMail system in 2038

in the meantime you could make an invite-only forum group and create a board to have those conversations with your group.

sMail needs a makeover

I posted this then went straight to work ;-;' ....

I do kind of have that going already as far as the forum thing but one can only post once per post (not sure if that makes sense) and I can't sit around and wait for one person to post before I can post again lol (still not sure if Im making sense OTL ) - but I'd like to be able to send out little news bits and updates for the group daily or of the sorts ;o; Gosh I wish this was a thing.

If you own a ping group, you can make your own unique forum and make a thread there. And you're able to post multiple times in a row there.
