I recently had a competition during Survival, but one of the users who competed in the competition is now frozen (for whatever reasons, I don't know, not my reason to know=don't care of the reason). |P
However, my question is, if the user happened to come in first place, but is still frozen, should I wait for the account to be unfrozen to be able to give this user in question something, or should I go to the next user who was the next highest for the competition for the winner instead? I'm confused as to what to do... So has anybody ever gone through something like this before?
Erm... ... Help please?
I have been frozen once because somebody else got access to my account and stole everything. I think it took me about 1-2 weeks to get it back. So maybe you can give them some time, and if they're not unfrozen in 2-4 weeks from now, give the rewards to the person who was second place?
Honestly, I'd probably file a ticket to get official word on it.
I agree with LOstSoul I would give the person a chance first my sister had hers froze as there were 5 people playing but only one computor at the time so they said they were cheating :O it was givin back though in time as it took a lot to prove but prove they did :D

just move it on down to the next person in line. I'm not saying this is what happened to this person in question, but there were a number of glitch abusers this Pandemic where people discovered they could mash the kiss button and override the wait time for hearts. Don't bother to wait for them to be unfrozen as they could be that way permanently. I had a frozen user in my contest and I just moved down to the next person because frozen = gone in my opinion.

Many users are frozen for reasons that are easily rectified once they file a ticket and communicate with the moderators. Give it some time.
I would break out the prizes as if they are here and hold aside for if they return. I would hold for two months, that is enough time.
If they do not return, you did your best and can use it for future contests.
. . . Someone told me I have two faults. I don't listen and . . . some other stuff they were rattling on about.
- I'd probably file a ticket and outline the issue. The person who responds to the ticket can more than likely see why the user is frozen and perhaps give an idea of if there is a chance they could be back.
If that fails, follow Wolf_Spirit's suggestion.

: Hmmm... I'll keep that in mind, thank you. :)
: Erm... Huh? Official word? You mean like status, right? Because they never do give out information regarding why they were frozen.
: Well, at least it was proven. But thank you. :)
: The user asked me whether he/she could participate (and participate he/she did), but I never replied, seeing as I was buried under Survival kisses. By the time I saw it, they'd already been frozen. I didn't hear about this particular glitch... I can't tell whether he cheated? I wouldn't be able to tell though. This glitch that you were talking about... Did it allow users to just give successive kisses within the minute or something?
: Well, yeah. I might wait and see, I think. If no response before Masquerade starts, then I guess it'll go to the next person.
: OK, thank you. :D
I meant some kind of official word about how you should handle the situation as you're still obligated to give out the prizes, I'd think. Not to ask about why they were frozen or anything like that.
that's exactly right. They could just mash the button and get X amounts of kisses. I doubt that Staff will ever let you know if they're frozen for good or not, and I know that players would get antsy and even upset if there was a huge wait time to give the prizes out. My mentality is the player is frozen. If they're frozen that would generally mean that they went against the rules. They got frozen and that means they're immediately disqualified. If they wound up going on hiatus, I'm sure they'd've stayed around to see the contest come to a conclusion. I honestly think that they should be disqualified due to the freezing.
Someone in your contest may have reported them.
I'm not saying this is the reason why they were frozen. Just saying it's a probability.
