So, I adopted a pet that happened to be born on my twenty-first birthday (which was a little over a week ago, February 24th) and decided I may as well keep it, despite preferring to adopt low ID pets, since it could be considered a noteworthy date in my life (at least in the US). I already had a legacy pet that I'd kind of made into a tribute to my old pet ideas that I've now scrapped. I wanted a fresh start, but was a little too sentimental to let go of the pets I'd had for over nine years now, so I've been revamping my pets with him set aside as a Nostalgic Feli (his original species) named Diez (in honor of a stuffed animal cat I'd had since childhood named Ocho, but named for my ten original pets).... BUT that just changed with the addition of this new pet, since I wanted to make them a pair!

I honestly couldn't be happier with the names I got for these two: Adulthood and Adolescence. Before I adopted my 21st bday pet, I'd kind of wished Childhood was open for my legacy, but the alliteration of the names I did get is pretty nice! Adulthood wasn't in use, and incredibly enough Adolescence belonged to an inactive account. I definitely lucked out :3c

Since I thought I might as well go out today, I also changed them to a Common and Chibi Neela respectively. I'm gonna be honest and admit I'm not actually too fond of the Chibi, but I REALLY wanted Adulthood to be a Common Neela and wanted the colors to match so that they really were a pair, so I kind of rushed on that decision. Fortunately Chibi Potions are only 1.5 mil, though, so if it doesn't grow on me I might just change Adolescence to Scribble? That's only one more million I need to spend, and I might even like the symbolism of it better.

Congratulations on the pet names! I love the idea of them being common and chibi neelas to match each other, that's really sweet. <3
