I'm not sure when this changed, but I only just noticed it today and this makes me super happy. Before, when I'd search in my vault, it would bring up whatever items fell into the term searched but not tell me which vault category I had sorted the item(s) into. Now it shows me which category they're in and that makes my life so much easier.

So thanks to whoever did that! I'm sorry I didn't notice sooner but super excited for this update!

A lovely small change. They should totally poke folks to let them know because that makes usability better but whatever haha.

Yeah, I wish this could get fixed again or something. It seems like most stuff to do with categories has been a bit messed up since they redid the vault layout recently.

Since the vault changes, I'm sad that this option is now gone. Now I don't know if my items are in that category.

I reported this but it hasn't got a single reply. I reported over a week ago I think. I hope they don't take forever to fix this - again.

I just noticed that this is no longer happening with the updated galleries - is there any plan to put this back? It made keeping vaults organized (and also finding things to remove) so much easier.

if you go into your vault and search for an item, it won't show what category the item is in in the dropdown menu.

so let's say I search for the term "bottled"

it comes up with:

all showing the category set to none.

bottled fire and bottled harvest moon should be showing none but bottled hatred is in the "Spells" category of my vault. for a brief period, it would correctly display categories, but ever since Keith changed the search, it stopped doing that
