Term 3 has arrived! For those of you who are joining us for the first time, welcome! To those of you returning for another term with us, welcome back! You all did such an amazing job last term bringing in house points and showing your RAVENCLAW pride, and I have high hopes for this term as well! Above all, though, I want you all to have lots of fun! If there’s anything you need a hand with, please feel free to come and ask your house prefects or any time, or reach out to our head girl, .

<p>The next day, after a taxing Divination lesson, you wish you had a place to be alone. You walk down the crowded hall to Potions, but on your way, you make a wrong turn down a corridor and end up in a dark, desolate hallway. A small, plain door arises out of nowhere, and you hesitantly open it. The room is tall and boundless. It&;s filled to the brim with everything: stacks of chairs, glass orbs, books, knickknacks, cages, wardrobes, and potions supplies.</p>
<p>Whistling echoes across the ceiling, and you attempt to follow it, stopping behind a mountain of cauldrons. You hold your wand out and examine a tall wooden cabinet with little moons etched into it.</p>
<p>The cabinet is noiseless now, but it shakes--just barely--as if something is trying to get out. Against better judgment, you crack it open and brace yourself. A little white bird whizzes toward you and nips your ear. It lands on your shoulder and whistles. You relax on a nearby trunk and sit with your new friend.
(Sorry, I meant to make this one paragraph, but it got out of hand...)
