So I've been gone for a few years and just opened up an art shop again after doing a few freebies and browsing around to get a feel for prices, but... someone was nice enough to let me know that my prices seem way low for the quality and type of art that I'm selling xD

Here are a couple examples: Simple-colored Waist-up Headshot Sketches Detail-colored Waist-up (this was a quick freebie for a friend so my detailed work would usually have better lineart etc., I just don't have any recent examples of it right now)

Can anyone give me a price estimate for any of these? I just don't want to be putting in 5+ hrs of work for $1 worth of sP ;-; Thanks in advance!

I guess you could charge about 500csc (equivalent to 5 $) and the sP equivalent for that kind of waist ups - If I were not completely broke rn I'd probably bug you to draw one of these for me for that price T_T

Also for the flat color maybe you could do 100csc less, so 400csc. And for the headshot sketches maybe 100csc? Convertion rate from csc to sp is something like 100csc = 8 mil sp but I can be wrong with this one and actually everyone has other convertion rates ^^'

May I ask how much you're charging rn?

Thank you T__T Haha I was asking for like 12 mil for a full-color waist-up which is I guess around 150 CSC? Now I realize I am probably way lower priced than I should be ahhh. Oh well, I guess the ones I'm working on now are ones I can use as examples for the future so it's not all loss lol ;-;

If you just started doing commissions it's not that bad. I just found your commission thread and it filled up pretty fast ^^ You might see me commission you when I saved up some sp and you have free slots again ^-^

I guess you can higher your prices for the next batch of slots, and if you don't get enough interest just lower them a little bit again. You can never know some people might think like 40 mil is too expensive others think it's cheap. ^^ You could also try to higher your prices like, double it for the beginning to 24 mil next batch and see how it's woring, and then go to 40 mil?
