I too have been confused with the whole virus thing. I paid for a virus two days ago, and nothing happened. So earlier today I went with the choose one for me for free, still nothing. I just sort of gave up on it.

Since the event ended you won't be able to get bites, but your virus should still develop over the next few days if it hasn't already :)

The Healer hasn't told me I'm infected so I don't think there's any visible sign yet. I don't mind waiting as long as there's some indication that this is happening.

You generally would probably get a faster answer making your own thread since not everyone will keep checking back on the old one; but as long as it's not unrelated/hijacking the thread or necro'd, then as far as I know it's okay to just ask.

the question- if I drink a L'Amour potion to get healed from my zombie virus strain (that I've had from last year) do I get it as a 'skin'? or am I just healed? maybe this was already covered somewhere... I'm not the best at checking the news. secondary follow-up question- if it becomes a 'skin' can I get a new strain next year and bite with multiple 'skins' or would I only bite with what I'm infected with?

I'd check in your wardrobe skins section to make sure it's unlocked as a skin, then if it is, go ahead and drink the potion. You can bite with only the skin you are wearing. you can switch skins easily though unless you aren't fully mature and have it unlocked. biting will probably be a bit different next year, so things may change.

You don't need to drink the potion, you can just remove the skin in the wardrobe if you have it unlocked

ah I wasn't sure if you wanted to drink the vial for the achievement or not, that's why I didn't mention removing your skin in the wardrobe xD if you do want it removed, you have to save your avatar again after clicking the remove button :)
