I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might find out what colors the zapper gives out; or the ones it doesn't. I'm going for all of the pet color achievements, but seeing as some of the potions are a bit out of my price range, I was hoping patience and the Zapper could help?

Pet Zapper: You can take your pet to the Ultimate Pet Zapper (located in the Darkside) and have it randomly zapped into other colors, however, be aware that the pet zapper can also change your pet into another species, change its gender, raise stats or do nothing at all... so use it at your own risk! NOTE: You can NOT obtain Angelic, Hydrus, Galactic, Nostalgic Steamwork and Sweetheart via the zapper

There is also an 'Experiments only' option at the pet zapper that will zap your pet into a guaranteed (but random!) experiment pet.

The regular pet zap costs 15 Wizard Tokens per zap, the experiment pet only zap costs 15 Wizard Tokens plus 400,000sP per zap, and you can use the zapper once every 2 hours.

!WARNING! The pet zapper can sometimes misfire, missing your pet and instead zapping unlocked items in your inventory, change your pet into a strange new species or destroy the minion you have attached to your pet. So you may want to remove your pet's minion and clear any unlocked items in your inventory before using the zapper.

Use elixirs for the achievement. They are soooooo much cheaper.

If you're going for cheap, just Adopt at Adopt R Us. I got most of my colors that way.

i agree, just lurk the adopt-r-us. get a pet with the colour you need, get the achievement, and abandon it again. but if i'm not mistaken, certain people get lucky with certain colours. like for me, i'm most likely to get Spectrum or Dawn on a colour zap. all the best with your achievements sweetie c:

:) Thank you for all of the detailed information! Though, sometimes I wish there were achievements for having the experiment pets. I get those a lot... Of that list of colors not available (Angelic, Sweetheart, Steamwork, Nostalgic etc.), do you know if that means it IS possible to get Nightmare, Graveyard, or Glade? :)

I didn't read it myself, so I'm not sure about the colors you mentioned. You can go read it in situ (it's stickied, in this subforum) I guess? I may have missed something.
