I had to come here to share, even though it is (very!) early days. I just had a first date with this girl who I find absolutely wonderful already. We met on Tinder, and we talked off and on for a couple of months. I just happened to bump into her on Saturday night at a club. I saw her go into the bathroom and thought it was her (creeper!!) so when she came out I went up to her and said her name. She looked so confused until I said my name and then it dawned on her who I was. I kinda ditched my friends (sorry gals!) to go hang out with her all night. I had such a good night. She's like a magnet and I'm drawn to her.

We met up again yesterday. We just kinda walked around and talked and didn't really have to DO anything, just be around each other. Now I keep thinking about her, and we're texting constantly. Every time I get a text from her I smile, no matter how short or nondescript. I just want to be around her and with her. I'm so excited, she's coming to my house on Friday and gets to meet my Mum and dog.

This is such a new feeling for me I had to write it out. The last person I dated was about 5 years ago, and it wasn't really serious. But still, he really broke my trust in people and my ideas of dating. I can't remember what I felt like then, but I sure feel happy now! She says that trust is a really big part of relationships, so she likes to take things slow (which I totally agree with!!). I don't want to be overenthusiastic, but I'm actually looking forward to going out and the whole dating idea, when before it seemed like a drag to me. I'm just comfortable around her (and want to cuddle her and kiss her and stuff). I just hope life continues like this for a while! Keep your fingers crossed for me peeps! :)

thank you for the lovely comment! It's crazy how much can change in a few days. Unfortunately at the moment she isn't replying to my messages. It's been three days and she just hasn't replied. I'm not sure what's happened. She's still posting on Facebook, so I know she's okay.

I think you ladies are right :) I'm trying to get over her and get back out there :P I keep trying to remind myself that it was her that chose to disengage, so it was her problem, not something about me (even though I can't help thinking that).

Haha I might crank out the old Tinder ;) And I've been hankering up to go to an event thrown by my University Pride Club, so that should be good! I think there will be drinks next week sometime, so fingers crossed for that!
