I restock regularly at the Book Nook, and I've noticed a couple of times in the last week a few books seem to be very expensive. I can't remember the name/price of the others I saw, but for example I just restocked this:

'I see you have a discount card! I'll give you a discounted price of 74,102 sP! Potions II has been added to your inventory.'

Is it meant to be that expensive?! Is it a bug? Wasn't sure where to post this..

According to its listing on SubetaLodge, its official price is over 90k. That does seem a bit high, but I guess maybe it's not a bug?

- indeed, 90k seems a lot...I doubt it's a bug but I admit I don't recall paying that price before, and I have read several copies of that to my pets. Wish I could remember the other books I saw set at that price..

Am I correct to believe Subetalodge updates automatically every day or something to that effect, so if the official price was fiddled with onsite, it should transfer automatically on SL, so it may not be an accurate checkpoint of old costs?

I paid around 92K for it when I caught a restock. (Was thrilled not to have to pay something around 800K in the user shops at the time.) I think it might have been changed after they made the wizard achievement.

Yeah I thought about that too, the book is already r99 and it's used for an achievement. It could be that they increased the price a bit because of that.

Sah, the cron at SubetaLodge use to update nightly but I can't say it does now. Since the server change everything we add/edit is done manually. That's why it can take me hours to get things added and edited correctly instead of minutes lately. Yay? xD

I'm guessing the reason for the high price is because of the achievement, as mentioned earlier. Not that I'm complaining about it, was just curious xD
