I just opened my loyalty box and opted for a loyalty username token, because, well...look at my name.

The name I want to change it to is currently being used by an account that is "eligible for clearing xx/xx/16".

Basically I'm just wondering, do I have to do anything (open a ticket, flag the account, etc.) in order to make the UN available to me, or am I able to just use the token and it changes without any further effort?

pretty sure you just change your username to that name when it's available. make sure you try a day early, names sometimes clear a day early so it's worth a shot :)

That won't use my loyalty token, though, will it? If I try to change it and it's not available? I've only used the pet slot token in the past iirc.

It shouldn't. That would be terribly designed if it did and you could file a ticket to get it back if that happened I'd think

No, it's not supposed to use up your token unless you're actually able to change your name.

- you may be prompted to enter your password when trying to change your username. If it doesn't get accepted, you will need to change your password - I see this happening frequently on the forums ^_^
