how do i remove the default facial features? i often see people with blank faces, or if they have a skin on you see the face of the skin and not the default features.

how do i do this? i tried to uncheck the boxes, since i can't remove them, and that didn't work.

Move the layers under your base and that will keep them hidden. :D

Checking and unchecking those boxes is a convenient tool that allows you to switch back and forth between several looks without removing the items and losing them in the mass of other items in your wardrobe. It never removes something, so if you create a look you liked but forgot to remove the unchecked items then they will show up after you have saved.
