What is your favorite Pokemon type? What do you typically go for as a starter?

; oh gosh my favorite type has most likely got to be a mix between steel and fire. (kinda ironic lol) as for starters, typically water types but my 2 odd starters are cyndaquil and fenekin. i'll never not choose them haha. my 2 powerhouses on my current team for AS are my LV100 Metagross (with megastone) and my Sylveon.
yesss! I usually either choose Fire or Water. My absolute favorite game is Yellow.

; i'd have to say that ruby and sapphire stole my hearts and then they came out with AS and OR and just i was waiting for this to happen. i'm just mildly disappointed at the lack of 3D features actually utilized in the game.
not to mention this re-release of the old games. i love the idea but at the same time i'd love to see something similar to AS and OR done. i'm sure they'd sell plenty more if they revamped them then kept coming up with more and more pokemon. hell, Yo-Kai Watch has supposedly beat out pokemon over in Japan anyway.
but i digress.

; kind of like pokemon but the graphics are SO MUCH BETTER like it's insane. basically Yo-Kai are spirits that humans can't see but this kid discovers a Yo-Kai and he becomes the "butler" and gives you the Yo-Kai Watch so you can see them. you have to help everyone out and essentially there's a group of evil Yo-Kai trying to release other bigger evil Yo-Kai so you have to stop them. you also befriend Yo-Kai by defeating them in battle and they choose to join you or not and each Yo-Kai is responsible for different things. Like Dismerelda causes people to get depressed/upset and Happiere (spelling may not be right, most likely isn't) makes people super duper happy. some of them evolve, others can be combined, and overall it's a real cute game. there's even one that attacks you if you don't wait for the crosswalk sign to come on before crossing the street after so many times haha
essentially the idea was to make it more relatable to Japanese culture. like the details are spot on, down to when you enter a house and cross the threshold you have removed your shoes no matter the house you go into.
oh dear, what a shame. i haven't played in a while either but i just redeemed a couple codes for a LV100 Mew so i'm excited to get that worked on in the next couple of... whenever lol
Yo-Kai sounds so interesting! Is it accessible to only Japan though? I want to playy. That sounds so amazing. I am going to look it up to see what the Yo-Kai look like. Have you played the game?

; played and beat the main plot line. it's for 3DS. it came out in the states a few months ago. it's a really quick beat if you have the 12 hours or whatever to just sit and focus but there are side quests and an extended ending but my game got corrupt and reset itself so i haven't touched it since. lol

; i totally recommend it tho, because it's a lot of fun for very casual players. haha and the 3D is nice on it too.
can i just say right quick how one of my biggest pet peeves about people who have 3DS who complain about the 3D and want less 3D in games when they can get the 2DS and not spoil the fun for everyone else?
EXACTLY! Like go put the game on your 2ds... I can't even see the 3ds anyway...

If one of you guys have a Playstation 3, you should definitely try out Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch! I love that game, I think it's absolutely adorable.
Also, hearing you are a beauty school graduate made me think of "Beauty School Dropout" from Grease for some reason.

; do you have poor vision? i know when i don't wear my glasses the 3D is almost impossible to see.
; ah beauty school dropout. we did the highschool musical adaption and they almost changed the lyrics in that song to be more family friendly. XD we did, however, end up nixing the final slap because our lead girls just could not act to save their lives when it came to it lol
