When it says "You have too many items on the fingers layer. You have a limit of 2. Why not purchase more?" does it mean I can only wear ONE fingers layer item or TWO? Because as far as I know I was only wearing two when the error popped up (Dark Plastic Talon Set and Wicked False Nails) which makes it a bit bizarre if I can wear two fingers layer items. I was also wearing Dark Plastic Talon Toe Set but that's a foot layer item.

Urgh. I dunno. I know broke people shouldn't buy GAs but dealing with this is such a pain...

with a non-gold account, you are limited to two items per layer. if the wardrobe gives you an error and you are sure you're only wearing two items on that layer, it's probably just the wardrobe being glitchy; sometimes it doesn't recognize that you've taken your last outfit off, so it still counts those items as 'worn' even though they aren't. once you save your avatar everything should be fine. if you want extra slots on a certain layer, you can buy them for 75k each in the 'purchases' tab, though you are limited to 3 additional layer slots per layer. so with a regular account you can have a maximum of 5 slots per layer, and with a gold account you can have a maximum of 6 slots per layer.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. Are these extra layers permanent or do they go away after a while?

Probably gonna buy a GA anyway 'cos autopricing is too good.
