How can you tell if your infected and how can you prevent it?

Infection is voluntary. If you don't want to get infected, then simply don't choose a virus in the Voluntary Infection Program. That way, nobody will bite you. But if you want to get bit, choose a strain (old ones are expensive!), or pick the Randomizer, and boom, you got a virus.
