How do I let people bite me?

I'm guessing that's a setting I toggle somewhere? You'd think it would be more obvious how to find it :P

I have the same question, how do I turn on biting?
I would like to know as well. I ended up volunteering, but it would still be nice to know how to turn off the No Biting!
You have to buy an infection from the VIP page first. If you volunteered for a new infection, I'm not sure how it works but I would assume it should update sooner or later on its own, assuming it actually went through. I don't go with new infections just in case, so I'm not sure how exactly it works :x

once you've signed up to receive an infection, the button under your avatar will change to say "bite" (it may take a little while to change) and people with that particular infection will then be able to bite you. for everyone else, the button will be greyed out. once you receive enough bites, you will be infected and the virus will start progressing over the next few days.
Ah ok. I picked one of the virus yesterday, but it hasn't changed yet. But perhaps it's just being slow!
imo it doesn't make much sense to buy an infection AND get nommed, and that's kind of a bummer. But thank you for the information! Can I buy more than one infection at a time?

Some people with new viruses have more than one, I think it's a glitch though. You're not supposed to be able to get more than one, but you should have plenty of time to get a few different ones. I managed to get 4 last year

nope. it wasn't me. congrats on being infected :) a lot of people wants to bite. especially when you say any infection is fine :)
