Ive heard that Quentin only asks for game prizes, which can be somewhat expensive. Are the quests worth it? Should I bother doing them if the item asked for is over a certain price?

They're a gamble, like all quests. Sometimes you'll pay out more than you get back in sP+ your item prize's value, but other times you could spend 20k and get 40k sP plus a mage amulet. it's up to you to determine if you think it's worth it ;) (ps, i always try to spend less than 40k on his quests, but thats a personal choice!)

Personally, I do them and find them to be rewarding. She might not always give you back equal sP but she occasionally gives mage amulets that can be worth over 100k sP. Which if you do battles they are something you would want, if not sell them and get yourself a nice payday. If she doesn't give you equal sP she usually will give an item worth 20k and if you sell it will equal out or give you more than the initial amount you sent.

I would say they are definitely worth it, amulets are worth closer to 250-300k, and I would say normally you get 2-3 from 15 quests? There's some bad days some super days, but overall I'd say it's definitely worth it, the amulets are very easy to sell, and his quest drops sell for a decent price too seeing as both Quentin and Cynthia ask for them :)

I think they're worth it. the junk prizes sell pretty well since they are asked for by quentin and cinthia, amulets are a good bonus (plus I always turn them in since I like boosters) I can usually break even or better on the quests though. if I get amulets, it's a profit

Yeah even the junk items that Quentin gives you will sell, generally for around 20k, because they get asked for in the quests too. Amulets sell for 250k at least but you can turn them in to the mage to try to get a tome which will sell for like 2m maybe?

Sometimes I might not get any amulets in fifteen quests but I have definitely had good days where I get four or even five. And the rate for tomes is about ... 20 percent give or take (about 1 in 5 has been my experience)

I've been keeping track of my quests the past few days. I don't get a lot of pure sp profit from Quentin, but the amulets are the main draw for me. I hoard them and then turn a bunch in to get tomes so I can boost my battle pet. In terms of straight numbers, I average about 80k pure sp profit from Quentin. In my experience, Cursed quests are most profitable, then Saggi, Wiz, Maleria, Carl, Cinthia/Library, and Quentin.

If it help, the average payout I see from Quentin is about 35k, so if the items are significantly more expensive than that then it's probably not worth it. (Highest payout I've seen since I've started keeping track is 70k)
