Hello, I have been off the site for quite a while and have kind of come back to be basically a noob again. I noticed my avatar's mouth was missing (seems to be a common glitch with avatars of users who haven't been on in a while) so I went to my wardrobe to see if I could fiddle with his clothes/face a bit.

However, when I go there it acts like I haven't created an avatar before and gives me a bunch of starter sets. It says:

"You're about to enter THE WARDROBE! There may not be talking animals on the other side, but there is the ability to dress your human avatar in thousands of different and creative ways. In fact, we can help you get started! Pick one of the outfits below that most appeals to you, and on the next page you'll be able to change your avatars gender, hair, and other features! This is just a starting outfit, to get you set up in the wardrobe."

However, my character already has an outfit and I just want to be able to edit him, not start over. Is there anyway I can just get to the normal wardrobe screen? Or have things changed a lot since I was last on and the whole system is different now?

waaaay back years ago we didn't get starter-set clothes, so everyone got this thing where we got granted a starter-set for ourselves once folks realized that newbies got one but they didn't. Just picking the set didn't make you wear it, it just put it in your Wardrobe or in your Inventory I forget which. You did need to pick an outfit before you would be allowed to continue, but this was two wardrobes before. You didn't need to actually put those clothes on your HA back then. In any case, just don't save it.

Wow yeah it's saying the V1 Wardrobe doesn't work anymore on Chrome and Firefox and I need to move to the V3 Wardrobe... I guess it really has been a while.

I clicked on the thing to go to the V3... unfortunately something still isn't being very cooperative and it's getting a bit wonky...

In any case thank you for your help!

that's normal workings for V3, it's not wonky. You need to click-and-drag your base, nose mouth and eyes below everything else (which looks properly layered).

Ahah, oh, right. Seems to be back in working order now. Thanks for helping me get updated into the snazzy new system. Guess I've got a few years of updates to check up on now, haha.
