What I want to know is: when you click on a room/path, is it pre-decided which way is correct, or is it randomly decided as soon as you click? It probably doesn't sound like a big difference, but I'd feel less crappy if I didn't have to sit there and decide which way "felt" right, and could just choose anything since it would be random. Does anyone know?
It's random. Just keep trying? Ice Fields seems to be easier. The odds for Crypts is insanely low, IMO.
Oh, yeah, they're low as all hell. I've never finished it once. So I could just click the same path every single time and have the same chances?
the path you choose doesn't have any relation to winning. The odds in Ice Fields are less than given, that is to say you have two choices, but the chance of either of those choices being correct is less than half. The odds in Crypts are better than given, because you can score a roomskip.
Both games give out random prizes just for playing, and these are random.
Yes, that's right. So just keep trying. My opinion that it's easier to clear Ice Fields stems from my personal experience that I was able to get to the end more times than I did with Crypts despite visiting the latter 5-10 times more often.
I've cleared Ice Fields once. Never the Crypts. But the Ice Fields will give you an ice bucket that is used to make a glacier potion. :D
