I'd really like a nose, but I can't seem to choose one. clicking them does not work.

could it be layered behind your HA base? on the left-hand sidebar of the wardrobe, you should have layers titled base, nose, eyes, mouth, and hair. you can drag them above or below the base layer to show or hide them.

When you go into the V3 wardrobe, you click the nose, see it change and then click "Save avatar," right? I know it's like the most obvious thing but bears asking.

I also seem to remember there being an issue someplace with the base features of HAs not changing but I, for the life of me, cannot remember where and when the thread was made.

clicking the nose doesn't even bring up a nose for me to save :(

You have to refresh a lot. You can also "share" your avatar and refresh several time to get the nose icon layer by going back and forth between the item tab and the share tab. It's a common problem.
