In the future, I would love it if this sort of donation page (for this and similar events) were organized so that the NPC images and associated text/info were aligned maybe to one side, with the list of items to donate were on the other side instead of having to scroll down to donate each time. It seems like a small issue, but the rapid scroll down > click motion as I donate my inventory's worth of items is making me so nauseous, haha!

I'm sure the alignment issues also depend on your browser/screen resolution, but I can't even see the top row of my donatable items without scrolling, with my browser window maximized at 1920x1080.

To be honest I'd hate NPC's on one side and a donation box on another. Not a fan of that kind of unbalanced look and it would also ensure a stretched page to fit all the NPC's vertically.

Totally agree that I wish the box of donateables was higher up on the page, that would have been a lot more convenient and less scrolling, but I don't mind that the NPC's are on the bottom.

Or a mass donate button. Save everyone the hassle lol.

I guess what I had in mind was something like the gift-wrapping center, for a visual idea, but I can see what you mean about the unbalanced look. I'm really okay with any kind of alignment/organization change if it eliminates the scrolling.

Haha, that would do it! XD It would eliminate part of the challenge/"work" of the game, though, so I could see how some people might not be into that, too.

If there were a way to make the side-column minimal, then that could work, as in the gift shop there's only a text box there. But I'm imagining all four team headshots plus scores lined up down the site of the page and cringing!

Mass-donate button would kill the servers and lead to items being donated but not counting.

I feel like this could be done via customCSS, move stuff around so it's where you want it to be. or you could control scroll out so more of the page fits on screen at once. but maybe next event stuff can be convenient for us, I wouldn't mind that.

You could just use adblock or CSS to remove the NPC images.

Zooming out on the page is a great temporary fix, thank you!

That's a good suggestion for people that want to/know how to implement it!

Quick fixes on the user's end are great, but I am hoping staff will consider this kind of issue as they are designing new events. Even for everyone that isn't bothered by the scroll visually like I am, I'm sure a lot of people who donated thousands of items are going to have SORE wrists this weekend. XD

I was discussing this with a few people. As far as the snowballs go, I would love a system that doesn't even create the snowballs. Want to donate 1000 snowballs? Enter the number in and the sP is withdrawn and the snowball number goes directly into your count.

You could still have the restockable stuff available to donate but just the snowballs being directly added to the count would save the servers and be a lot less stressful.

But then billionaires would buy the winning team.

Don't they anyway?

[edit]If that becomes a problem then you can always put a limit per day for snowballs.

It's realistic that way, it's how real life works too :)

I honestly don't think snowballs should have been included in this, at least not with the shop the way it is. Maybe if they had reverted it to a regular, restocking shop.

I like the snowball idea, but maybe institute a timer. 1 snowball, 10 second wait or whatever. 10 snowballs, 100 second wait. So on and so forth for higher denominations. It would save space and loading time, but provides an even advantage for everybody.

sP didn't win this competition. I'd love to go into detail about what did, but I'd be "targeting" staff.
