How many of your pets have backstories that intertwine with each other?

Do you have pets/characters that are siblings? How about parents? Cousins?

Characters/pets that aren't related by blood?

Linked by love, friendship, or even hatred?

For me, I have three characters that are related. Oafish is Clog's brother. And then Better the son of Clog, and thus the nephew of Oafish.

Yep, Grimsbi is Lolapop's boyfriend Desukan is Grimsbi's rival/friend who had the same love interest but she chose Grimsbi. And that's just one example.

I have literally thousands of characters non subeta just OCs who I actively roleplay with my brother, all of which are also intertwined in some way. Djaden and Eloene on here are based on some of my favorite OCs.

I have 3 pets that are tied together. Two of them are sisters, and the other is a friend. Akamria, Anhya, and Fiernia are based off of my WoW characters, and their stories all relate to my friend's pet Regrowth, who's their Tauren.

Back when I got most of my original phobias, a lot of them were related. I had three siblings (And another pet who was simply involved in the story as well) and then I had another couple who shared a story. But now I ... well, no one really has a story any more 8D

Most of my pets are with standalone backgrounds and their own circle of friends/families, but I do have a few that are connected, and none of them are by blood:

Doomsday and Gloom: This is the first pair of characters I ever develop here. They are mostly secret boyfriends.

Viggo and Ulrik are going to connected as well. I haven't written their stories yet, but I do have everything planned out. Their relationship is a bit tricky to summarize without me spoiling the story.

I have a whole bunch of fanpets that are connected: Hatred and Havoc (love-hate relationship), Alderson and Wellick (I ship them too much), Hanzee and Dodd (henchman and mob boss, up until a certain turning point), Jigsaw and Hoffman(master and apprentice, more or less), Asset and Rumlow (They probably hate each other).

Ignoring my two pets Princess Butterball (my real life cat) and Sir Rodney (memorial for my real life cat) they were litter mates. I do have Son Goku and Hakkai though Hakkai is most likely to end up an OC someday.

First group: Ah-Dol and Sirah are brother and sister. Ah-Dol is in love with Sirah.

Llyn is Sirah's "son". He's actually a clone of the man she loved infused with her powers. He's also friends with Daniel.

Daniel Jackson is a servant of Sirah by accident. (I really need to write out his story)

Meander lives in the place that is Ah-Dol's prison. Ah-Dol is called The Keeper by those in there.

Paper Witch is a friend/annoyance of Llyn. Llyn calls it "an annoying little asshole" while Witch calls him "Little Death". Maybe they're more like frenemies. lol It also finds Daniel interesting.

Second: Iyasu is friends with Paper Witch and not quite by choice. When you end up imprisoned by Witch you either make yourself go insane hating it or go with the flow and take things as they come.

Third: Sakuya Kira and Heylel are best friends since Kira's childhood.

all of my stories take place in the same fictional city, greylake, though at different time periods. so they are all connected in some way or another. |D

naruse and dominic are coworkers who absolutely cannot stand each other. naruse also lives in the same building as miljenko but they don't really interact.

rizon met nivo once but that's all.

telo and morella are... friends i guess? they get along and enjoy each others' company but are radically different. and beat each other up considerably when they first met lmao. kizuki knows morella by name as she used to be a rather prominent figure in the organized crime scene but never actually met her in person (he'd probably try to kill her if he did though).

blac and lee are best friends. blac's story is also a sequel to lee's as it takes place some 2-3 years after theirs. (most of my stories don't follow a strict chronological order though)

5 of my pets' stories are interconnected, probably soon to be more. I love it when people use multiple pets to tell a bigger story.

I used to have my pets related to each other years ago, but now they have their own characters. I like to imagine they're in the same world, however. c:

A few of mine are related somehow, at least. I like it when I come up with a connection between my characters, because it gives me more inspiration for their own characters in general too.

For example, Theater and Perfectionism are brothers. Tbh I originally made Perfectionism after deciding that I wanted Theater to have a brother too, because their relationship plays into his motivations and stuff (yay, sibling jealousy =P), and then of course I'm imagining Perfectionism's personality in contrast. On the other hand, Chill is another pet I created as her "own character" but I imagine her having some kind of relationship with Theater too, as well as with Indifference maybe (though atm I'm rethinking Indifference's character, so hard to say exactly what their relationship is). Meanwhile, Amphi is a... lost friend/love interest from his past that he can't get over, and since they're connected, she might have some connection with other characters connected to him, etc. =P

And as I started to imagine an actual personality for Lurv, I thought maybe her and Theater could get along, because I can see them having some similarities. Maybe she's be a bit of a "rebound" when he realizes Amphi isn't coming back or something. Then I decided I wanted her to be Last Day's "daughter" or something too, because it seems fitting aesthetically. I also feel like she could be related to Danced somehow (because pink birds), but I haven't decided too much about Danced's character yet, aside from some basic stuff. Anyway, Lurv is kind of a fickle person, and I'm imagining her "living at" some traveling carnival, so there's potential there for her to be connected to a variety of people anyway, but that's what I got for now.

And speaking of Danced, I don't have much for her yet as I said, but when creating her I was thinking she could have a possibly romantic dynamic with Balance, as I imagined them both to have something to do with dancing (shocking in Danced's case right) and Balance would be this optimistic beginner while Danced is this angsty ex-dancer or something. =P

Anyway, Last Day also has the potential to be connected to other characters as he isn't too fixed to one location, or even time-line, as he has some time traveling related abilities, but I don't see him having many intimate relationships (for now anyway). I did imagine him involved in one of Huff's stories, though, so Huff gets the opportunity to time travel. And I was thinking him and Precocious could be family. Recently I also made Simulator and Seamless, who could be twins or whatever, and I was thinking of having Precocious and Seamless as part of a story together, which Huff would probably get involved in at some point, so now I'm thinking maybe Seamless and Simulator could have some connection to Last Day. And, hm... well I was also imagining that Simulator and Lurv might get along (or "get along" anyway), so that works out pretty nicely... once I can come up with a decent story of how they're connected, anyway.

Then there's Flayk, Discarded, Unraveling, Unsettling, Pleasing, Galling and maybe Maleen who I imagine as part of one story together. Discarded and Pleasing are siblings in the biological sense, while Discarded and Flayk are sort of like brothers in a non-blood sense, since they pretty much grew up with each other. Unsettling is sort of Flayk's "mother" though she doesn't feel that way towards Discarded, as she feels a sort of distrust/dislike towards him that she never gets over. Galling is sort of a love interest for Discarded, though it's more of a love-hate kind of thing... or just a good amount of annoyance with some UST slipped in. Flayk and Discarded has something more romantic going on... from Flayk's side anyway. I can also see Maleen and Discarded having some interesting interactions, and so I went out of my way trying to find a way to fit her into the story I'm coming up for them. =P

Then some time ago I made Ugliness and Enchanting because I wanted to play around with the idea of a gender-bent beauty and the beast type story, but I haven't gotten much for them yet. =P

Then there's Landscape and Indifference, who I also imagined some type of fairy tale-esque story for, but I haven't had much inspiration for them lately. D: They were sort of the first characters I came up with on subeta, even though I don't have the pets themselves anymore, and I also imagined them interacting with Chill and Theater etc, and I came up with some other characters I never created subeta pets for, but I guess things got a little convoluted so I'm trying to rework stuff. Yeah.

Also imagined that Dimming and Hungry Ghost could have some kind of dynamic, but I really need to think about their characters more. And I'll probably also end up wanting other characters for their "story"

...And that's all I can think of for now.

Alevarak and Annavbelle Lillith: (copy-pasted from Al's bio) In high school, he met Annabelle Lillith, and was pulled into her "goth club" at their school (against his will). Much to his chagrin, he became a target of teasing for her, due to his nervous habits and twitchy/paranoid personality. To this day, he hates discussing anything having to do with Gothic culture because of Lillith.

Drashan, Novanoid, and Sanyo: Novanoid and Drashan are siblings. Nova and Sanyo were once happily married, until a scientific experiment went awry and began to corrupt Sanyo. He became a very cruel man. Long story short, Nova and Sanyo's marriage fell apart and Sanyo ended up killing Drashan. Now, Novanoid hates Sanyo for what he did, and tries her hardest to resurrect her little brother. Drashan is only "living" now because of Nova's black magic.

Talinex, Aelte, and Mersera: Aelte and Talinex are family with no blood ties. Mersera and Talinex are like children to Aelte, who has no biological children of his own. Ael looks after both of them, and makes sure that Talinex is kept safe and calm after what he's been through. Mersera, in turn, does what she can to keep both of the men safe and sound.

Aelte, Jiva, and my sister's pet Hakudoshi: Haku and Jiva are both demonic ice siblings. Aelte is a user of fire-type magic. They don't get along too well, though Ael really does want to befriend them.

Aelte and my sister's pet Archaine: Ael holds unrequited feelings for the woman, whom thinks he's actually sort of creepy.

Novanoid and Hendassa: The explosion that corrupted Sanyo's soul destroyed the body of Hendassa's sister, Alerassa. But with some quick thinking, Nova managed to save the girl's soul by fusing it into her sister's body, thus creating a two-souled being.

Ocirida and my sister's pet Lord Snow: Lord Snow is Rita's father, and she doesn't like that fact in the least bit. Rita is a runaway princess from an icy kingdom. She ran away from home, not wanting to bear the responsibilities that her elder sister [Lord Snow's minion Erilitha] was ineligible for.

I think Reyok is the only one that isn't connected to anyone else.

Carus, Areios, Kyron:

Carus, Areios and Kyron are related to each other. Areis and Kyron are brothers and Areios is Carus' father. Carus was risen by his uncle, cause his dad dissapeard a year after his wife (Carus' mother) was murdered. Carus was three years old at that time. Carus will meet his father (allready did so) years later at the age of 21. All three are chosen by the death godess Thiara.

Warrick, Ulric, Tarvik, Willow, Gaston, Champion

This guys are all Baseraph, chosen ones of the gods of night or dark gods. They later on (except of champion who has a more ambivalent part in the story) will become friends of Carus and are some kind of "rebells" in the order of the Baseraph. Warrick, Champion, Willow and Ulric serve the godess od death Thiara, Gaston serves Tiaxa, the godess of time and Tarvik serves Namgul, the god of shadow, night and thieves.

Laertes is Falks father but both do not know about it. Falk dies not really remember his father well enough to recognize Laertes as what he is and Laertes thinks his children dead.

Milan and Grigori

Milan is my hero of Ferelden and Grigori is his father, a warden from the Anderfels. I also altered a lot of the original story, so it is more to my liking and I also added a ot of Milans story which the original DAs never tell. More can be found on their profiles.

Hektor and Reynaud

Both are Grey Wardens. Both are from Orlais, but Hektor actually never was an orlesian Warden. Hektor was actually "recruted" by Milan to rescue him from death and allways part of the Ferelden Wardens under Milan. He is Milans best fiend. Reynaud is an olresian Warden and a genius when it comes to war machines.

Urthemiel

Dragon god of beauty. I gave him some special role in the story I am planning on. You can find more about it on his profile and yes I know I altered the original setting/story of DA a lot.

My DA Inquisitor, I also plan too alter a lot here so it is more to my liking.

Marcius is my gladiator in ancient rome and Castor is his faithfull wolf-dog hybrid.

Both are part of the roman army. Quintus is a centurio and livius a simple soldier with the deep urge to burn things ^^

My characters from my stories settled in the Fallout universe:

Vault, Denis, Dominik, Kios, Lea

These guys are my characters from the Brotherhood of Steel. Vault is a Dweller from Vault 13, Denis a Dweller from Vault 101. I also altered the timeline and happenings here so it suites better into my story. Lea will join the BoS a lot later.

The rest are stand alone characters or I am still figuring out, what kind of part in my story the will have.. or if they also become stand alone character ^^ Most of mine have more information about their stories or thei background on their profiles. To write this all down here would kill the forum XD

Same here. Out of my own pets those who are connected with each other would be:

Anatol and Fraser who are a serial killer "couple" (Anatol forced Fraser to join him because he knew about his past and thought it would be helpful to have a person on his side who can help him to keep the police away from himself)

Hagen, Xaver and Clark are all part of my WW2 Story.

Skinner and Lawson are both part of the same organisation although they are doing different "work" in there. They actually hate each other.

Jordie, Deacon and Holden are all part of my prison story.

Cletus, Pius, Paulus, Fabius and Cato are all part of the same RP I am doing with since a couple of years already (she just doesn't want to admit because reasons x'D)

Reggie and Piers are both Fallout OC's and also part of an RP i am currently doing with :P

I have four pets that go together in one story, and two others that are in a relationship lmao. Granted, I haven't written their stories yet because im lazy but one day.

Darragon, Theoros, Thallus and Ameria go to the same story. My pet Darragon is based on my OC Sabina. Theoros is her dragon-shifter bf, Thallus is her pet dragon, and Ameria is her mother. :> I want to make her brother at some point, but we'll see about that.

Then I have Kesatria and Anora. Kes is a lil angsty ball of trouble. She likes to fight everything. Anora is her gf who makes sure she doesn't get into TOO MUCH trouble.

It's insane how many of my own pets are connected to each other, and it only expands more when I think about my two roleplaying friends.

Aquamarine and Tarnish both "tamed" Fireworks, to make him act more civilized. Although not by much.

Auko, Kenji, and Maiku are sisters. Cher Ami is Maiku's daughter, and Auko is Gungnir's mentor. And from there, Gungnir is sisters with Dappled and Pained. Naively is a friend of Gungnir, who is also friends with Genu. I've been pondering making Disco an online friend of Gungnir's as well.

On the note of siblings, Highness and Chadrick are also brothers. They have two more brothers, but I don't have any plans to make them on subeta anytime soon.

Iridus and Recillia are coworkers, sort of. Recillia is more or less Iridus' assistant, although Iridus specializes a bit more in science while Recillia is more involved directly in the medical field.

Haikai is one of Villanelle's adopted daughters. A friend of mine owns Haikai's sister and Villanelle's wife. I cry about this family a lot...

Zoisite and Rained are both angels that pursuit Eisen. However Eisen killed Rained so... Eisen also frequently tries to kill Woundless, although it's hard to kill something that's already dead.

Pilot and Yoshi are one in the same character. Pilot is my fursona, while Yoshi is more of a subetan/negative/honest representation of myself.

I have way more connections than this, which extends to pets that belong to my friends. If I were to try talking about them, I'd be typing for a good long while. Character connections are a ton of fun though. They're interesting to "map out" too, I find it amusing how completely unaffiliated characters are connected through family, friends, or otherwise!

Horus Lupercal, Konrad Curze, Roboute Guilliman, Rogal Dorn, Mortarion, and Sanguinius are all brothers, being as they're fanpets of the Primarchs from Warhammer 40k. Ahzek Ahriman is their 'nephew', of a fashion, seeing as he's a Space Marine from their brother Magnus the Red's (Yes, the guy I share a name with) Thousand Sons Legion and Space Marines are considered their Primarch's 'sons' in a way.

Enigmatic, Formidophobia, and WonderIand are fanpets of the Riddler, the Scarecrow and the Mad Hatter from Batman: The Animated Series, respectively. They're all pretty good friends, as much as a bunch of mentally ill rogues can be anyway. Chuuni (Michiko) is my Batman OC and a vigilante so they get into fights quite often, but she still cares about their wellbeing even if they hate her. She used to work with Jervis/WonderIand at WayneCorp before he was a supervillain, they met when she interned there; they got along pretty well and she misses him still.

All Hallows Eve, Barter, Depressive, Doorway, and Yinglong are all from my original universe. Yinglong and Doorway are friends, even though one's a policeman and the other's an assassin. Depressive works for Doorway as a poisoner and they're friends too. All Hallows Eve works in a local library and helps Yinglong with his police work. Barter is a demon who wants their souls.

Which leaves Glasgow Smile all on his lonesome. But he's a jerk, he deserves to be alone.

None of my pets' stories are particularly fleshed out yet, but I have some basic ideas down, including relationships. (Well, down in my head at least xD There's nothing on their pages.)

Frescoes and Greyhound are probably dating... may change depending on what I do with them. Greyhound in particular needs a lot of work story-wise.

Daffodahlia and Kitchenette are sisters, and Kitchenette is in a relationship with Splattered. Thinking of also trying to work Chauffeur and possibly Little Bear in with Kit as well since they all have similarly themed TCs.

Plonk's story is eventually going to link with my sister's ( [] ) pet Frostbloom. Their relationship is, uh... interesting? xDD Our characters always seem to be the most well-developed when we work on them together. Also, Steph, Uddercup should totally be friends with all of the pets mentioned in the paragraph above xD

I'm sure I'll link up more pets in the future as I work on their stories in more depth. I actually enjoy integrating characters into one story-arc.
