Rotten Rogue, especially. What has she been doing since her random event was removed? What was she actually doing with all of these stolen items? Fragmentizer? Planning to overthrow Jeremy at the Pawn Shop? Rival of the Hustler? There is plenty of potential for her, and I'd like the site to bring her back, in another fashion than LOL, STEAL YOUR ITEMS.

Also, can we have Darkheart Phantom be relevant more than one day a year? Also, I have no idea who Thatcher Mordell is, but he looks badass. Can we have him do something?

And Archie from the Reading Drive! It has been said that the book store's NPC would possibly get a massive overhaul, so can we get Archie in there? I mean, he is canonically a thing, we know he is great buds with Alexander AND WAIT. HE WOULD FIT THE MONTHLY THEME BECAUSE OF THAT.

But yes. Bringing back old NPCs instead of pushing them aside. Hell yes.

I'd love something where the old NPC's came back, even if it's some static Rogue's Cantina on Atebus where all the C-list NPC's are standing around doing nothing in particular except hatching unspecified plots.

Maybe the Rogue has moved on to contract thievery for Maleria and/or unspecified others. Maybe she's been contracted to steal Javier and deliver him to Ytiva so Vanya can keep his fireplace lit on the cheap!

Yes to all the ideas suggested above, with the added suggestion of maybe also folding in lesser-used parts of the site like the Green Project in Centropolis, for potential plotty reasons.

Sure, why not? Plus, like the Secluded Shrine, maybe it could change from time to time to showcase different NPC's. It would be so much fun, especially if it were interactive as you mention.

Perhaps the Rotten Rogue could run the Antique Shop on the Omen Islands. On the Omen Islands main page the link is labelled The Islander Shop and it's only the Antique Shop when you go in there so the main page link really needs to be relabelled. Moana as the shopkeeper is left over from when it used to be the Islander Shop.

Belial runs the Minder Reader game now, so he's still being used somewhat.

The Zapper v.1 Clawsion was working on something last Pandemic, I think.

There is so much potential! I hope some of these characters surface in upcoming plots sometime, instead of introducing new characters. Have rotten rogue steal the key to the ballroom of the masquerade. Or have someone frame her and then she explains she has gone all nice now.

tbh I just thought Maleria was picking them off one by one, working together with Calvin Blackmoon to absorb enough to power to finally overthrow Shinwa and the Oracle. The age of the Darkside shall begin. A new era shall take place where the entire planet is the Blackheart Hollow. PoBows for everyone!

But in more serious replies (because that would be a kick ass plot that would allow staff to not have to deal with those old NPCs ever again) I wouldn't mind having NPCs remain on site that are independent of anyone else. Just something small that they don't have to worry about again because they aren't tied to any other NPCs, which I love how they're doing that with the current ones, but I wouldn't fault them for not bothering with trying to build upon that for everyone.

There's a lot of potential in these ideas. Whether any NPCs are revived permanently or just for a single event or annual events (or to die), it's a treasure trove of inspiration for future plots and their elements. Maybe even site expansion? Who knows. Love it.
