Like, I'm using my Bovyne to get books achievments and to fight. My Experiment will be used to get foods achievments and my Escalade I don't know what to do yet, I would like suggestions. xD

most of my pets are characters i use for the purpose of creating nice stories and profiles and displaying cool TC collections, but i use frosix for battling/reading (because he was already tier 2 when i adopted him—and i was very surprised by this fact—so i figured, hey, might as well keep training), and my pet veranda for food achievements.

other than that i'm usually just like, "wow i like how all these diner food items look together, maybe i should start collecting them, oh wow i could use this as a pet treasure, hmm what kind of name would suit that pet, well i already have maeby and no ideas for her so i guess she could be a waitress at a diner, okay, cool" and before i know it i've coded a profile and written a story and organized 100 items into a TC :)

Skua is my book pet mostly because it fits so well with his character. Xaden will be my battling pet once I train him up bit more (I keep ignoring the alert so it will take it a bit). I haven't chosen my food pet because I have a character in mind for it but not enough space, so that will wait.

I'm using Lyrue to get to the top tier in one of the jobs though, you could probably use one of your pets for that? Your Bovyne would be a good choice since it already battles and should have good intelligence (which is what you need).

Hm, not really. Mostly I have Flayk as my battle pet, Unraveling as my book pet, and I've been considering using Lurv as my food pet, but I'm not sure. I do have jobs for my pets too (except some of my newest because their stats suck :X), so they earn a bit of sP when I remember to collect their income.

But since I don't care about collections anymore, if I find a plushie/beanbag/sticker that I rather like, I give it to one of my pets if it fits their treasure. Like I might even be tempted to make a pet based around certain items so I have a TC to put them in. I guess I can see why some like making baker pets or whatever, because there's a lot of pretty food items on the site. I mean, the idea of having a pet whose character revolves around something like that isn't too interesting to me but I like finding excuses to put food stuff in their TC.

Like I was using Lurv mostly to put some of the nice plushies I got, because they were too neat to sell and I don't care for collections like I said, as well as some other cute items or whatever, so that was a purpose she served. Then recently I decided that she could live at a carnival or something, so it makes some sense for her to have some stuff like that. Then I decided to put my glacier plushies in Jerkass' treasure, 'cause I could see him being a bit childlike. And stuff like the vintage plushies seemed fitting for Precocious' character.

I could just make a gallery (which I technically have, but it's more of a place for storing potential TC items in), but it feels more... meaningful? to make whatever items I like part of a pet TC if I can, than just putting them into a gallery.

So yeah, that's one purpose they can serve. Now to decide who to be my food pet. >_>

(Sometimes I also want to train some of my other pets more, but that's less them serving a purpose and me wanting them to be strong because it suits their character.)

xD The purpose of most of my pets is just to look pretty. I use Styxx for battling/food/books... A few others get sporadically trained. Sometimes I get an idea for a TC and I'll make a pet around that, like my pets Valeri and Venik.

All of my pets have their own characters and stories, I just never manage to actually finish their profiles. :v Mairon is my battler and gourmand, and tbh I should have probably also made him my reader pet since that way I wouldn't have to buy duplicates to get alchemy points. Vivien has always been my main reader pet. I've tried to start training a secondary battler, but it's such a hassle that I haven't much bothered with that, so despite being an ancient pet, Ossirian is still a very low tier, hah.

I think all of my pets (sans couple of the newer additions to the family) have jobs, but I never remember to collect their pay so it's not really something that I focus on.

I guess their main purpose is to make me happy by owning them. So all of them are burdened with glorious purpose, I suppose. LOL!

I also have characters and stories for each pet. Other than that, Schwarz is really my trophy/achievement pet because he's my all-in-three battle/book/food pet. I kinda regret it a bit now, but what can I say, he's my first pet (eg.early starter) that I will never stop to spoil. It's also too late for the rest of my pets to catch up with him anyways.

all of my pets are my oc's who i love writing/drawing/roleplaying, which i guess is a purpose in itself? xD nivo is my battle/book/food pet, since he was my first pet and the one i've had the longest, so he deserves to be my trophy baby. o u o

I have ideas for most of them, but some of them are honestly kind of sitting until I figure out what to do with them.

All my pets are characters from storys I am writing or RPs I am playing. So all pets have a purpous for me at least. They are all Avatars for characters of mine ^^

Most of my Pets have characters, some OCs, the majority are fanpets - and the ones that don't have a character are just here to make me happy, just like the rest of my Pets.

My pets are my metaphorical babies.

Well, I have 55 pets, so it'd be hard for all of them to have a unique on-site purpose! Halden is my main battler (and book reader, because AP) and Teiji is my secondary battler. Evyline is my... tertiary battler I suppose, though technically she's not my third strongest pet; I'm just trying to get her to that point, so I use her third most often and train her frequently. I also occasionally battle with Jhazra and Nicandros, and I like to farm weaker special challengers (CSC, event, etc) with my tier 4-6 pets, and sometimes my tier 3s as well. (Tier 3 is my personal minimum for training pets, though I'm still working on getting the newer ones to that point.)

Deichi is supposed to be my gourmet pet, but I always shove all my pets in the resort at once, and I keep forgetting to remove him so that I can feed him myself. :'D I am not good at going after the food achievements.

Oh! And all of my pets have jobs, aside from the newest pets which I've been procrastinating on getting books for, eheh. All of my other pets either earn or will earn a minimum of 8.3k a day. c:

Other than that, my pets are simply representations of characters that I created, orrr they are going to be, once I figure out characters for the name! I really like working on treasure chests, it's like a gallery of things the character likes, and I think working on TCs can be helpful for character development, so I suppose there's some purpose there? I enjoy them, anyway, and that's enough for me.

None of my pets has a purpose. They're based on characters and I fill their TCs.. but the closest they have to a purpose is to give me something to spend sP on.

Oh wait - I just remembered I do have a battle pet. So yeah, she has a purpose. The others must be jealous.

All of my pets exist so I can put a bunch of crap in their treasures :D Each one has a specific theme (except for Riordyn who has a very broad/general theme) for items they "collect". Around half of them have characters and the like all the rest are fanpets for the same video game.

I use Riordyn for books, food, and very sad attempts at battling. Kathelina and Tavore are my main backup readers but I'm trying to get Lusitania's intelligence more accurate to her character too. Whenever I have extra books they've already read I usually pick the reader based on character/theme.

They all exist so that I can have pretty rainbows on my profile

Azana is my foodie and Talleyrand is my Battler. The rest are all characters I use for stories and art-stuft. :)

Poseidon and Haggard are my battlers, Domino and Susi have eaten quite a lot of different food. The rest is there for their characters, both OCs and fan pets from fandoms that I enjoy.

No achievement pet for me, the only thing I care about with 'serving a purpose' is battling.

For no purpose they get their profile and treasure chest filled.

Mine are all (supposed to be) original characters (except for Aleksy and Saeka, for now they're just there to fulfill my need for a Sweetheart and Storm pet, haha!) They're all connected via a story I have yet to do anything with.

I don't really battle, or want the gourmand achievement or anything right now, so on-site my pets are basically nothing but eye candy.
