bit of an oddball question, but does anyone know what kind of ratio? the scratchcards are using? i've been using the scratchcard timer as a timer for the free shop (& to hoard more scratchers for the achievement, two birds, etc), and right now i have over 300 -- 100 maleria, about 70 calvin / 70 saggi, about 30 pie / 30 kumos, and a very underwhelming 10 shinwa and 7 sebastian. i don't really care about which cards i get since it's just for the achievements (and i might just be very unlucky), but i can't help but be nosy with that kind of perceived imbalance, y'know?
you have gotten a ratio that matches the rate that each kind of card gets issued. They are not equally likely to get.
Last time I checked, which was years ago and before scratchcard rewards got revamped, each card was more likely to give certain rewards. Some cards do not have certain rewards, so you can't get a jackpot from a Kumos Moon for example.
The Golden Glory card only comes from Achievement or from other players, it isn't buyable from the Malticorn club kid.
huh, that's neat. thanks for the info! i knew the glory card bit, but i didn't see the bit about specific rewards when i skimmed my google search. guess i should resign myself to dealing with a few thousand maleria scratchcards, haha.
I used to scratch thousands and write down what the result was and post the results in the Games subforum. I haven't done this in a long time though. Maybe someone else has done this since the revamp. It might be worth skimming the last few pages there to see. Before the revamp Blackmoon was most likely to give a jackpot and Maleria a stat boost and Kumos Moon a coin. Phoenix and Shinwa cards were total wastes of your scratching time. I dunno if any of this is different or how different it is now.
it looks like your post from '12 is the latest one? the general results thread isn't particularly helpful either. i'm short a mere 4500 scratchers so this is def a ways off from now, but i may as well keep track of the results when i do scratch all of them o:
