I haven't seen this mentioned yet in a recent post, but I really miss the ability to type in the hex code colors when picking hair colors/highlights in the hair salon. It used to be the case that you could select the box for the color and type it in if you wanted. Since the wardrobe change now you have to hand pick every color, and this makes exact color matching to items difficult.

For example, I use cat ears a lot in my avatars and I like my hair to exactly match the ears so they blend together. If I wanted to wear the "brown wild cat ears" I would enter the hex code "" to match it. Now if I try to wear this item I find it almost impossible to match the color by hand-picking it. It's quite frustrating since I have a list of all the colors to match things, but can't use it since I can't type in the codes.

I hope they bring this feature back in the wardrobe.

I miss it too as I used it all the time in the old version. Not as easy now and kind of a pain in the butt.

i agree, though i feel like this feature will probably be re-added at some point.... whenever they get around to it.

Are they still working on the wardrobe? It feels like development has stagnated again, and there are still bugs and missing features all over.

I hate the new Hair Salon because of the color code things. AND because wigs still don't fully load in the place where you preview the colors, so I can't see what the ends of certain hairs (Tilla, Enchanter, any wig longer than boob height) look like until they've been added to my HA.

Yeah, I definitely hope they add this back in at some point. Preferably sooner than subetasoon... lol

Speaking of the hair salon though... I've been wondering (and I hope you don't mind me piggy backing here, but it seems like it makes more sense with your idea, then as it's own post. Feel free to kick me out and I'll edit and make my own post but...) would it be terribly difficult to have a 'default' setting for redeemable wigs?? I see the profit motive of wanting us to want two copies of each redeemable wig, but is there any other reason it wouldn't work? It would be incredibly wonderful, and hopefully not too difficult to add in - especially if we move back to hex codes.

Oh yes, that's definitely another thing that would benefit from bringing back the hex codes. I personally don't mind having two copies of some of the redeemable wigs, but if they were to bring back the codes it would make it easier to at least come close to matching some of the original colors (especially if you are using the highlights). I haven't redeemed a few of my wigs for that reason because I know I'll never come close to matching the colors some of them have.

Exactly! I don't want to ruin the lovely art of the original wig by experimenting in the salon XD I'd like to experiment, but I'd also like to be able to get back to the original colors. Or even mostly the original with maybe a different highlight here and there!

According to he said that this is already a feature, but it's not working right, so this would probably be a bug.
