Hey guys!

I'm not sure if this has been answered somewhere else, if so, please direct me. I have a Loyalty Pet Slot Totem, but I don't have a Gold Account at the moment. If I use the pet slot totem, will I be able to adopt a new pet? Or do I have to have an active Gold Account to get the extra pet? I'm already over 10 pets.

Nope, you dont need a GA, pet slots have been changed so that a GA is no longer needed.

I think you still need a GA to get slots beyond the max. (I think the change was that the extra five slots was no longer a GA perk, but GAs were still required for pets past 10.) But here's the announcement from when they made the change. Maybe a more concrete answer is buried somewhere in here.

Thanks for linking me there! It is slightly confusing.. It says that pet slots are no longer connected to GAs so I don't need one to have the extra slot, but also seems to specify that all accounts have a base 10 slots. I'm assuming that what they're meaning is anyone can have the 10 base slots already and as long as I have the item to get more slots, I can do so without the GA. This sounds promising, I'm going to try activating the pet slot totem and I'll let you know how it goes xD

EDIT: "You have been given 1 extra pet slot, for a total of 13" I guess it worked! Haha I'll have to try adopting a new pet now, but I'm pretty sure it worked!! Thanks for the confirmation as well,

You do not need a GA for pet slots any more, they are not connected.
