So I went to go make a lengthy thread for a thing. Character limit mentioned it was 6,000. Was too long, so I was able to reduce it down to 5,800 or so, COUNTING spaces. It's still too long. Why? What am I doing wrong or missing?

I vaguely remember that when you edit posts the character limit increases. Maybe try posting half of it and then editing in the rest?

Thanks. I hope that is the case. I know we cannot delete posts, but are we able to delete threads? I'd really hate to post half and not be able to "edit" in the rest, lol.

Sadly you can't delete threads, but you can always just edit it again to remove your text. That or you could try it in one of your posts here first. c:
